Cherry Almond Bread
I made this according to the recipe, without modification, except that I could not find sour cherries at my grocery store, so I used a can of sweet cherries instead. I expected the cherries to stay intact in this recipe, but instead they were mashed in the kneading, so there were no chunks of cherry in the final bread; rather they were incorporated into the bread. The bread came out exceedingly dense; it felt like a brick when it came out of the pan. But even worse--it did not bake all the way through. The flavor was ok, not as cherry-ish nor as almondy as I was expecting and hoped for. I ate a couple slices of this toasted with butter for breakfast, but I got to the middle of the loaf and realized it wasn't cooked all the way through.

Onion, Garlic, Cheese Bread
This recipe was fantastic. I am new to bread-baking--this was only my 3rd loaf. I made it in my Sunbeam breadmaker, and I followed the recipe exactly. The bread was absolutely delicious and we enjoyed it alongside some stew. The cheese was fully incorporated into the bread, unlike the photo which showed a clump of cheese in the middle. The result was a slightly dense (in a good way) very squishy, soft, and tasty loaf. It had mild onion, cheese, and garlic flavors. I was expecting it to be more oniony, but it wasn't--it was just enough. I would highly recommend this recipe to anyone, and would encourage newbies to give it a shot!

Easy Broccoli Quiche
I used a pre-made pie crust with this recipe. The recipe made WAY too much to fill the crust. So it ended up being way too much broccoli and onion, not enough egg (plus, it was a waste of my eggs). Then it took closer to an hour to bake rather than 30 minutes (and I DO have a separate thermometer in my oven, so I'm confident the baking temp was on-target). Overall not a BAD recipe, but could use some refining and tweaking.
