Dark Molten Chocolate Cakes

Reviewed: Mar. 27, 2008
This was mind-blowing delicious!! My friends raved the whole evening! Some suggestions, definitely add the 1 tsp. of espresso powder and vanilla as was suggested by another reviewer, also I used Ghirardelli chocolate 75% cocoa, it melts nicer making for a smoother richer consistency of the molten center. Make sure not to overcook, when the top puffs up and there is no longer visible batter its time to take out. I greased the ramekins with butter and dusted with cocoa powder and sugar, they slipped right out! The cocoa powder doesn't leave white like flour. Amazing dessert, don't be gun shy they are a cinch to make and you will have a hit!

Baked Asparagus with Balsamic Butter Sauce

Reviewed: Nov. 4, 2007
Delicious and creative way to enjoy asparagus, even for those aren't crazy about asparagus. I follow other reviewers suggestions and swapped the ratios of soy sauce to balsamic. Also broiled in my toaster oven to cut down heat in the kitchen. Turned out fabulously!

Italian Pasta Salad II

Reviewed: Aug. 21, 2007
Great recipe, made a few changes though. I added a cup or so of diced cucumber, as well as a couple cups of broccoli, I poured the hot pasta water over the broccoli to steam... rinsed all in cold water to keep from overcooking pasta and broccoli. Also I added quite a bit less oregano and added in a few TBS of balsamic vinegar to increase the flavor, overall great recipe and delicious summer salad~

Balsamic Roasted Red Potatoes

Reviewed: Aug. 21, 2007
Awesome recipe, I diverged slightly from the recipe... instead of using plain garlic I used roasted garlic, you can do this yourself or buy it in a Jar (Williams and Sonoma makes a great one). I cooked them for an additional 10 minutes but this may be due to variance in wedge size. Also I took another reviewers suggestion and tossed with freshly grated Parmesan cheese just before serving. Overall great recipe, a definite new favorite-!!

Award Winning Soft Chocolate Chip Cookies

Reviewed: Nov. 8, 2005
This recipe is AWESOME... however after making these over 30 times the recipe has evolved some. Let me share with you my changes. Fist I usually half the recipe since i don't need so many cookies. Secondly I use the larger 5.1 oz box of pudding instead of 3.4, if you are doubling use 2 5.1 oz boxes. Also there are too many chocolate chips try using a half cup less for the half batch and a whole cup less for the regular. And lastly when softening the butter, room softened is sometimes a bit too firm. Try microwaving the butter at 40% heat for 30-40 seconds, just enough to soften the inside without melting all the way through. These are a few things that have worked for me... hope they help... DO TRY THIS RECIPE ITS WORTH IT!

Broccoli Cheese Soup

Reviewed: Oct. 29, 2004
This soup is delicious! This is one of my favorite soups... however I have made several of the changes others have suggested. I like adding extra sharp cheddar cheese as well as fresh garlic with the sauteing onions. Also I half the soups as I do with many recipes since I am usually feeding one or two. Also I like to grate in a few fresh carrots near the end to give some color and a little more nutrients. Overall awesome recipe a must try for all~!
