Bifana

Reviewed: May 25, 2011
This is definitely a keeper! It was a nice day, so we grilled it after marinating a couple of hours in some pureed chutney. I cut back on the red chiles, and will probably leave it out altogether next time since there were so many other flavors to enjoy that the heat wasn't necessary.

Tomato, Corn and Avocado Salsa

Reviewed: Jul. 14, 2012
Wonderful salsa! Though I did make some changes: Fresh boiled corn instead of canned, no olives, scallions instead of red onion, no bell pepper, canned chopped green chilies instead of jalapenos, mixed lime and lemon juice instead of just lime, and cut back on the salt.

Sauteed Swiss Chard with Parmesan Cheese

Reviewed: Aug. 4, 2012
I grew up hating swiss chard, but this recipe is amazing! The flavor is wonderful. The only change I made was to use white onion instead of red.

Tilapia with Creamy Sauce

Reviewed: Dec. 27, 2010
This was great! After reading other reviews, I decided that the sauce recipe should be 4 TABLEspoons of cream cheese and 5 TEAspoons lemon juice. I made it that way and my family and I really enjoyed it. I will make this again.

Pink Sauce for Pasta (Shrimp)

Reviewed: Jan. 10, 2014
Wonderful flavor! My only disappointment was that the sauce was very thin. I think that next time I will reduce the sauce in a pot before adding it to the shrimp. I did not have any mustard seeds, so I added some ground mustard to the sauce. I also sauteed some spinach along with the shrimp. Will be making this again!
