About this Cook
I've been married for 5 years and expecting my first child. I enjoy cooking and creating new foods and ole' classics as well. I use to cook every evening but, being pregnant and working full time has me super tired these days... So, I've left some of the meal planning to my husband who is doing a much better job and learning as he goes ;)
My favorite things to cook
Breakfast, Bunch (yum), Italian, French, Hispanic Foods, Classic comfort foods, Meals using fresh ingredients (summer is my favorite!)
My favorite family cooking traditions
Making Apple Butter with my Mom, Sister and Niece in the Fall. Easter Brunch with Eggs Benedict made with fresh homemade english muffins and a honey ham. Stuffed French toast dredged in a yummy mixture of cream, eggs, vanilla, orange juice and sugar. Simply Devinne!!! Fresh cranberry sauce in the fall! Okay now I'm sooo hungry!!
My cooking triumphs
Mastering fine pasties is in my future. I've tackled a few projects that have turned out great but, baking is definitely one of those things that you that you never learn if you never make a mistake. Trial and error.
My cooking tragedies
Prepare of the cooking adventure... make sure all shopping is done before hand. Plan the meals so all items are done at the same time so nothing gets cold and prep, prep, prep!

Cinnamon Raisin Bread I
Wonderful warm cinnamon raisin bread was a hit with the family. I added more raisins due to personal tastes but, no other subs were made. Excellent addition to my bread arsenal!
