This recipe was quick and easy. I am a big fan of cornbread, so I used Pillsbury cornbread muffins and they were delicious!

No Time to Cook Chicken

Reviewed: Jun. 3, 2002
I thought this recipe needed a little something else. Though the soups made a nice sauce, the chicken was a little bland. I probably won't make this again.

Pumpkin Cookies III

Reviewed: Nov. 17, 2002
This cookie was very good, though more cakelike than I usually like. They also tend to be very moist when storing them. I would make these again, though I'm searching for a less cake-like cookie with more of a pumpkin taste.

Very good muffins, though not the quick prep that I usually like. I would make these again and let others eat some this time!

Carrots Au Gratin

My friend who doesn't like carrots really liked this recipe. I used dark brown sugar and baked it at 350 for 20 minutes to thicken the sauce.

Caramel Bars

Reviewed: May 1, 2005
Can I give these more than 5 stars? I have already made these 3 times. I have to make double batches because they don't last long!!! I love Turtle Sundaes, so instead of walnuts, I added pecans. These are SO good! Thanks for the recipe!

Blueberry Buckle

Reviewed: Jul. 21, 2008
OMG I can't stay away from this dessert! I didn't read the reviews before I baked, and I found the mix to be too thick to handle, so I added a little more milk and it worked out great. When I make it again, and I will, I'll try adding some brown sugar like others advised. The house smelled wonderful while this was baking! Thank you!!!!!!

Sugar-Free Peanut Butter Cookies

I made these cookies to try a recipe with splenda for the first time. These were crumbly, but they were better the second day. I couldn't stay away!

Best Big, Fat, Chewy Chocolate Chip Cookie

Reviewed: Aug. 18, 2008
I have to say I was really hopeful for this recipe. The great thing was that I realized too late that I didn't have enough vanilla extract, so I used 1/2 T vanilla extract and 1/2 T Banana Extract. These...were...awesome. These cookies were good the first day, like many said, and if you keep them in an airtight container, they're good for a few days. I wish they stayed softer longer, but the taste and smell of banana were so strong, it was worth it!

Chocolate Covered Cherry Cookies II

Reviewed: Dec. 20, 2008
O...M...G... These are absolutely sinful and I normally don't like choc cookies. I've already made my 2nd batch in two days. I ran out of cherries and used two blueberries on a cookie and they were awesome, too! I didn't taste the cherry juice in the icing, and kept adding more juice to get it, but no luck. I wish I read the reviews first; I'll try adding some cherry juice to the dough. I also advise doubling the dough--you'll make the 2nd batch anyway! Because of the excess icing, I decided to make batch #2. I added more cherry juice to the icing, but I think it was too much. My cookies ended up spreading a lot, and the only difference was the icing. I tried one, though, and they're just as good!!!!! THANK YOU for this recipe! These are AWESOME!!!!

Cream Cheese Penguins

Reviewed: Jan. 1, 2011
I love penguins and so this recipe was perfect for my New Year's Party. I only had medium olives, so I used them for both the head and the body, trying to use smaller olives from the can for the heads, but regardless, worked out fine. I used the little X in the olives for the place to insert the carrot beak. Also, for the body, I cut two slits, to remove a wedge-like section instead of just one slit and opening up the olive. This way, I didn't have to fill the olive with too much cream cheese, and since I didn't have to hold it open, it made filling it easier. I also used a ziploc bag with the corner cut. super easy. My guests loved them and even wanted to make some themselves! I only made a partial recipe, so the remaining cream cheese was sliced up and layered to create ice floes on which the penguins stood. Thanks so much for the idea!!!

Beef Steaks With Blue Cheese

Reviewed: Jun. 2, 2012
We were very happy with how tender these were, and we liked the blue cheese sauce, but we would have liked the meat to have a little more flavor. I would make this again because it is really easy to make but I will try to figure out some seasoning or marinade for the meat. Good recipe, though.

Make-Ahead Mashed Potatoes

Reviewed: Jan. 28, 2013
I felt that this recipe was very bland. Keeping the potatoes warm in the crockpot sounded like a great idea, but after a few hours, they really started to brown, and by the time we were ready to eat them, I didn't really want to serve them. Unfortunately, the taste didn't make up for their odd color. Sorry, I won't be making these again.

Tender Italian Baked Chicken

Reviewed: Jun. 2, 2013
I made this as directed and I couldn't believe how moist it was. I would follow other reviews and turn the chicken over for 5 minutes so that the bottom can get crispy too. Mine turned out soggy. But very tasty! Thanks!

Jen's Creamy Garlic Mashed Potatoes

Reviewed: Dec. 30, 2013
I thought these were okay. I was afraid that two heads of garlic would be over the top because I'm not a huge garlic fan, but even I would use two the next time I made it, as the garlic flavor was not very strong just using one head. Made these for Christmas dinner and everyone seemed to like them.

Easy Sugar Cookies

Reviewed: May 15, 2014
I was in a hurry to make a fruit pizza and didn't have time to go to the store to buy sugar cookie dough. I found this recipe and pressed it into an 11x15 pan and it worked perfectly! I set the butter out to soften at room temperature until it was very soft and removed it from the oven at 9-10 minutes. I didn't check to see if I had overdone it since some said to take it out of the oven after 8 minutes, but I knew that the cream cheese I was going to put on top of it would soften it up if I did. Someday I will try making cookies with this recipe but I may not have to buy sugar cookie dough again!
