Spicy Grilled Chicken

This is the best chili! I'll keep this recipe handy. I thought it smelled weird at first when I added the wine and steak sauce, but don't worry, it turns out wonderfully! Thanks for the recipe!

Absolutely Ultimate Potato Soup

Soooo good! This is a very good recipe. I did keep the bacon aside, and served it as a garnish. I thought it might get soggy in the soup. This is the best potato soup I've made!

Barbecue Ribs

Wow!!! I'd never made ribs before, and my husband loved these! I cut the sugar in half, and used country style pork spareribs. The sugar in the sauce can burn pretty quickly, so watch them on the grill, and turn and baste often. Very delicious! Thanks for the recipe!

Buffalo Style Chicken Pizza

Very delicious! I used a thin Boboli crust, and just used as much of the blue cheese dressing as I would use pizza sauce. Very good recipe, thanks!

Award Winning Soft Chocolate Chip Cookies

To us, these cookies were the best the next day, since normal cookies are stale by then, but these were still soft. They have a somewhat cake-like texture, but they are good.

Buttermilk Pancakes II

Soooo delicious! These are great pancakes with a good buttermilk taste. They are easy to make, too. I served them with strawberries and whipped cream for a treat, along with sausage, and my husband loved them. Mmmmmmm!

Black Bean and Salsa Soup

Very easy and delicious! I added a third can of whole beans for texture, and I added lime juice and cilantro. I had chicken broth instead of vegetable broth, also. This is a great recipe that is easy to have on hand and make at the last minute!

Pepperoncini Beef

Wow! This is sooo good! I tasted it before dinner, and didn't think I could stop picking at it! We had it with crusty rolls and provolone cheese melted on top. Absolutely delicious!

Tzatziki Sauce I

Yummy! This tasted just like the sauce from a restaurant. I made chicken gyros with this sauce and Peppy's Pita Bread - wow! I only used 1 T olive oil, because that's all I had, but I don't think it made a difference. I also added 1/2 of a seeded, finely chopped cucumber. I love this recipe!

Peppy's Pita Bread

This was a great recipe that gave me soft chewy pita bread like we get at a Greek restaurant. I made chicken gyros with them, with tzatziki sauce, and they were amazing. I used 1 1/2 t salt, and you have to watch the cooking time. 4 minutes was perfect - 5 was too long, while it didn't burn them, they did get really crispy. I am going to keep this recipe!

Fra Diavolo Sauce With Pasta

I've been using this recipe for a while now, and I love it! It's really easy to throw together quickly, and tastes like it was much more complicated to prepare. I just use shrimp in the dish, since that is what we like. When I have fresh shrimp, that is what I use, but it also works to thaw frozen, precooked shrimp, pat them dry, and just toss them in at the end to heat through in the sauce. And we always have a good, crusty bread to soak up that yummy sauce!

Shredded Beef for Tacos

Very good recipe - this would be good with so many dishes. I used it in soft tacos, with homemade tortillas, and it was delicious. It would also be great leftover on nachos, or taco salad. It was perfect for company - I cooked the meat in the crockpot half the day, then shredded it, put it back in the crockpot with the juices, and let it cook on low until we were ready for dinner. Great and easy - thanks for the recipe!

Scones

Very yummy! I used past suggestions and used 1 egg with enough milk added to make 1 cup, which worked well. The dough was crumbly in the bowl, but came together with a little kneading. Be sure to use chilled butter, which gives it the right texture. This time, I added 2t cinnamon and some cinnamon chips. I'll also try lemon blueberry, and clotted cream with jam. Thanks for the great recipe!

Baked Dijon Salmon

This is a wonderful change from the usual lemon salmon. It is simple to prepare, but tastes like it took a while. I don't usually use all of the topping, though. Delicious!

Cha Cha's White Chicken Chili

This is now one of our favorite dinners! It's very spicy, but we love it. To make it quick and easy, I used a rotisserie chicken. I also mashed 1/2 of one can of beans to thicken it a bit. This is a great recipe, thanks!

Deviled Eggs II

These are really good deviled eggs - I think the vinegar definitely makes them delicious, and I used dijon mustard instead of yellow. They turned out wonderfully, and were the first ones to be finished at our potluck. Thanks!

Deep Dark Chocolate Cake

This is a perfect recipe! It turns out wonderfully moist and flavorful, and the frosting is delicious. I did use coffee instead of the water, and I think that did make a difference, for the better. The recipe is so easy to make, after being used to cake recipes that require creaming, and adding ingredients slowly. This was a breeze, in the oven in just a few minutes, and a big hit with the family! Thanks!

Best Brownies

These really are the best brownies! I love to bake, but I haven't found a brownie recipe that my husband prefers over the boxed kind until now. Plus, they are really quick and easy to prepare. The only thing I had to change was to add a tablespoon of milk to the frosting - otherwise I just had a sticky powder. This is definitely a recipe I'm keeping on hand!
