Red Broccoli Salad

Great recipe! My kids will not eat regular broccoli but for some reason they will eat this(probably because there is bacon in it). I used a bag of already cut up broccoli so that made prep time alot quicker.

Steak on a Stick

I cubed up a beef roast and merinated the meat for 24 hrs. Next day I put meat, cubed up potatoes and ears of corn(cut into 3's) and baked it at 350 for about an hour and it turned out excellent. I then took the remaining marinated meat and made Chinese Pepper Steak with it. That turrned out better then my original recipe I have for pepper steak. Props to the person who submitted this marinade. Love how universal it is!

Perfect Turkey

I used all the suggestions from "lalalina's" review and it helped me make a great turkey for Thanksgiving. I didn't want to carve it because it looked so pretty. Litehouse brand makes "Freeze Dried Poultry Herb Blend" so I added about 1/4 cup of that in the bottom of my roaster and it gave it great flavor to the turkey and the gravy. Thanks for the tips to help me make the best turkey ever!

Chicken Fried Steak III

I love reading the reviews that are posted on these recipes. For me they are very helpful. I changed this recipe in the followidng ways, I used only 2 lbs of meat and then I mixed up my flour mixture and took 1/2 cup of that and added it to my 3 eggs. I also diluted the pasty egg mixture with a small amount of milk to a med paste consistancy. Lastly I only added 1/4 tsp of the cayenne to the flour mixture and used garlic powder instead of garlic salt. My son, who is 10, will be the first one to point out if somethigang is too salty. Turned out pretty good and had no problems with coating sticking.
