About this Cook
Well, I do a little cooking at home. I also worked as a baker in a small town bakery during the summers in college, so I know my breads (and buns and cookies and doughnuts and...well anything involving dough) fairly well. Other than that, it's just tinkering in the kitchen.

I love to cook savory things. If it has meat in it with some sort of breading and gravy, then let me at it!
My favorite family cooking traditions
We always have cheese, crackers, and wine (sparkling cider for the underage people) on Christmas.

I make a mean steak and ale pie (for an American)
My cooking tragedies
I once put salt (instead of the 3 cups of sugar) in a upside down molten chocolate cake...needless to say that wasn't the best cake I've ever made.

Slow Cooker Chicken Stroganoff
Yummy! This is extremely hearty and extremely easy to make. The cook time is just about perfect for the chicken and the sauce. I served it over egg noodles with homemade Russian Rye bread. The whole family loved it. However, the serving size that the recipe gives is way off. I followed the recipe exactly and, after two of us had second helpings, my family of three has more leftovers than we have tupper-ware (though we will enjoy eating said leftovers). 4/5

French Crepes
This recipe was excellent! The batter came together very well. I made a few modifications (added a splash of vanilla and stuck the batter in the fridge over night just in case it would be too thin), but the essentials of the recipe were there and they made for some delicious crepes! My only nit-picky complaint was that two tablespoons of batter did not yield full sized crepes, but then my pan may have caused the size problems. 5/5

Overnight Cinnamon Rolls I
Overall, this one of the better doughs for cinnamon rolls I've seen. I made a few modifications to the fillings due to personal taste and my own experimenting in the kitchen. I also did not make the glaze but instead turned these into caramel rolls; it worked out very well. The whole family loved them! I would have liked to see these rise higher, though (thus the 4/5 instead of the 5/5).
