Family loved this and very simple to make. I used the pork butt about 4 lbs. Feed us four with 2 full plates for left overs. Went with the small rolls to serve. My 13 yo thought it was awesome. Used the dried onion flakes, some s&p and turned over the meat mid-way. I had it on slow cook for only about 6.5 hours (mostly because I forgot to start on time). It forked apart effortlessly at 6.5 hours. I drained off juice (and fat) from the crock, replaced the now-pulled pork and reconstituted the meat using about a 1/3 of bottle of BBQ sauce. I went light because I didn't want to loose the nice hint of root beer. Some added more sauce at the table but most liked the mild but not over-sauced flavors (including me).
