Whiskey Hamburgers

Reviewed: Jan. 9, 2013
I'm a serious burger hound so I was excited to try these but my husband and I thought they seriously lacked in flavor. It was like I hadn't added anything. :( A lot of ingredients to not taste like much.

Eggnog Thumbprints

Reviewed: Dec. 12, 2012
This is a great recipe as is. :) Buuuuut ;) if you are a big eggnog fan I have one suggestion, make the frosting with eggnog liqueur. Yum! Both are great. Love this recipe, will definitely make these again! Maybe with yet another liqueur in the frosting!

Brown Sugar Meatloaf

Reviewed: Aug. 9, 2011
I found this recipe looking for something different to do with hamburger I needed to use. My husband decided he was starving so I didn't have an hour to cook it as meatloaf but I really wanted to try it, so I went the sloppy Joe route. :) I made the meat mixture per the recipe except I left the milk out (not sure if that mattered) and used onion powder instead of chopped onions. I mixed the sauce in a bowl, cooked the meat mixture in a skillet and added the sauce at the last minute. Served it on a hamburger bun, it was good! I will definitely try it in the correct meatloaf mode! My husband put cheese on his hamburger bun, yum! I will say if you try it this way use the lowest fat content hamburger you can. I already had 93/7 ground beef, but there was no grease to drain in the pan at the end. Yikes! It didn't look or taste greasy at all though. End result it was fast, easy, and good!
