Crab Stuffed Mushrooms I

Reviewed: Mar. 24, 2002
Excellent recipe, the only change I plan on making is using italian flavored breadcrumbs instead of plan. Made these for my boyfriend who is not a big seafood fan and he loved them. Really easy. Thanks for submitting the receipe

The Best Sweet and Sour Meatballs

Reviewed: Aug. 11, 2002
The only change I made to this recipe was I did not use an entire onion, I used about half. Other then that I followed the recipe exactly as written and I absolutely love it. I will be making this again. Thanks for submitting.

Alison's Slow Cooker Vegetable Beef Soup

Reviewed: Oct. 9, 2002
This soup was delicious. I used 3 cups of water instead of two and also omitted the salt. I used crushed tomatoes w/ basil instead of the tablespoon of basil and it was wonderful. Thanks for submitting. I will be using this again

Plum Tomato & Pesto Bread

Reviewed: Jul. 2, 2003
This receipe was excellent. I was going to a picnic and found this, everyone ate every last piece and it was extremely easy to make. I left out the olives but I may add them back in next time and I only needed 5 plum tomatos.

Chicken Enchiladas I

Reviewed: Sep. 19, 2003
Excellent.. I followed other reviews and omitted the water and used a can of enchilada sauce to coat the pan and top the enchiladas and they were perfect. I may make them a little spicer next time but overall these are great and easy.

D's Famous Salsa

Reviewed: Oct. 15, 2005
I had doubts while I was making this that it would turn out as good as the reviews stated. I was wrong, it is delicious!! I used less cilantro than suggested (just to my taste) put everything except tomatoes in food processor and chopped, put in a bowl and than added the diced tomatoes as recommended by another review mixed it all in the bowl and put back in processor and mixed it really fine (again to my taste). Very happy with result. I will definately make again and probably make some more changes but this is an excellent base recipe for salsa.

Salisbury Steak

Reviewed: Dec. 27, 2005
Very good recipe easy to make. I used a packet of dry onion soup mix, 1 bouillon cube and 1 cup of water for the meat mixture. Used remaining and added a can of cream of mushroom soup to pan to finish cooking steaks. Did not need additional salt called for in recipe. Very tasty but a little salty. Will make again and try to reduce salt more next time.

Very good. I doubled the coconut since I didn't have the extract and it was still delicious. Went over very well with the coffee drinkers at Christmas

Haddock Marinara

Reviewed: Mar. 22, 2006
Recipe very tasty. I made a few changes just to suit my taste. I used diced tomatoes instead of stewed and only used about 1 cup of jarred sauce for the bottom and used a generous helping of italian seasoning on top of diced tomatoes. Did not use mozz. cheese just sprinkled a little parm. cheese after cooking. I used 1 1/2 pounds of Haddock and it was still alot of sauce. Very good base receipe can be doctored to fit anyone's taste.

Slow Cooker Cranberry Pork

Reviewed: Oct. 12, 2006
Loved this recipe!! I may have overcooked the pork by a little. I would suggest on low setting for 6 1/2 to 7 hours tops. The meat was extremely tender but could have been a little juicier. But overall will absolutely make again and again. Easy and delicious.

Chicken Wing Dip

Reviewed: Oct. 15, 2006
This was excellent. I only used 8 ounces of cream cheese and used mainly low fat ingredients where I could. I did use ranch dressing this time but I can't wait to try it with the bleu cheese. Oh, I also only used 1/2 cup of hot sauce, my husband doesn't like really spicy food. Thanks for submitting a great appetizer.

Hot Spiked Cider

Reviewed: Oct. 21, 2006
Only change I made was using three cups of cider instead of two to even out the rum per recommendations. I might use half cup of water and have cup of cider instead next time. But I will be making again.
