Hazelnut-Mushroom Pilaf

This was great. I prepped the day before so it was easy to cook. The only thing I didn't have was chicken stock so I fearfully used beef stock. I like to follow the directions as written. It turned out fabulous. I will try again with the chicken stock but it had a full flavor with the beef. Thank you for sharing.

Easy Sausage Strata

5 stars for this bad boy. I made it as written and it is wonderful. I also made this with onions, peppers and mushrooms, also wonderful. I made this one and cut it into portion size pieces which I wrapped and froze. I can then have a piece which I nuke anytime I am in the mood. So easy and good. Thanks so much.

Sweet, Sticky and Spicy Chicken

This is so good. I cooked sauce while preparing chicken. I also added red pepper flakes and extra honey, chia seeds and just a tad of corn starch. I gave this 5 stars because I altered this great recipe to my liking. Thanks for sharing.

So good. I try not to use out of a can or jar anything and this sauce proves my point, it's way better. I made it and froze a lot for use as side dishes, calories ya know. I would love to bathe in this though.

Pumpkin French Toast Bake

This is a wonderful dish. I took others advice and added bread cubes to pumpkin mixture and it worked out great. Solo good. I will divide this up and freeze for individual breakfasts. This I do with pancakes, chicken, side dishes etc. I cook when I can and store for later. I have lost 55 pounds this way and eat better than I ever have. Eating healthy is easy this way.

Bats and Cobwebs

I use my own spagetti sauce (we call it gravy) recipe. Parsley, garlic, locatela cheese, salt, pepper, Italian bread crumbs, milk, eggs. I don't measure. Salt, pepper, grated cheese in good Italian crushed plain tomatoes. I make enough for 3 meals and freeze. All the flavor in my gravy comes from cooking the hamburger in the tomatoes. Sometimes I through in a raw potato, left over chicken or pork, umm so good. Play around with this gravy and don't be shy with the spices.

Acorn Squash with Apple

Great recipe, I made it tonight and it was quick, and easy. This is the first time I cooked acorn squash. I bought it earlier this week and just couldn't pick a recipe. Since the great tip on peeling, I used yours and am so glad I did. Next time I will add nutmeg and vanilla. Thanks so much for posting.

Alice Chicken

I made this with a few variations, using what I had in the house. It was wonderful. I just had a bit of mushrooms so I threw in a tad of spinach and onions I had left and only had Swiss cheese, I never vary from a recipe (I'm not that creative) but this turned out excellent. I want to add that I believe the original recipe is great and I intend to follow that recipe the next time.

Absolutely fabulous. I used the white wine, and green peppers, and it was great. My dog licked the plate clean, so it wasn't to hot. This is a big 5 stars for me. Thanks all for the recipes and the reviews. I am not a creative cook so I can use all the help out there.
