Baked Lemon-Basil Pasta

Reviewed: May 19, 2012
This was really good! I didn't quite have enough sour cream, so I added a little cream cheese to it. The sauce was delicious and stuck to the pasta. Made with colorful bow tie pasta and served with bread sticks! It was awesome.

Jam Filled Butter Cookies

Reviewed: Apr. 2, 2011
Very good! I used strawberry jam and sweetened cream cheese to make delicious cookies! Per other suggestions, I used less flour, BUT DON'T! My first batch was relatively flat, so I added in the flour I'd left out. Also, I added 1 tsp vanilla and used 1 whole egg instead of 2 egg yolks. Will make again!

Coconut Oatmeal Cookies I

Reviewed: Apr. 26, 2011
I love these cookies-a quick addition to a classic oatmeal cookie. I wish I had raisins on hand, but I didn't, so following a different recipe on this site, I chopped a few maraschino cherries and added them to half the dough. Yummy! I also added orange peel, which went great with the coconut. I added extra baking powder/soda because of the other reviews (and also because if there's someone that can ruin a cookie recipe, it's me!) My cookies turned out great, but still sort of flat, so next time I'll add cream of tarter per some of the other reviewers. All in all, a great recipe to tweak and make your own!

Quick and Easy Pizza Crust

Reviewed: Sep. 20, 2011
My husband wanted homemade pizza and I wanted a quick recipe...I found it! I absolutely loved this, the dough was so stretchy and easy to work with. Doubled and used half for breadsticks. Made everything in under an hour! Added garlic and Italian seasonings to crust :)

K-Dub's Alfredo Ravioli Bake

Reviewed: Jan. 25, 2012
A few changes! first, I used the ravioli that I had on hand- spinach and walnut. Second, I replaced the butter with olive oil and made my own, lo-fat alfredo sauce. Added broccoli and it was delish! A nice way to make a one-dish meal with things you may have on hand!

Classic Thanksgiving Dressing With Parsley, Sage and Thyme

Reviewed: Jan. 25, 2012
Made this for a Vegetarian Thanksgiving for my family! Made my own bread, nixed the onions and celery, substituted veggie broth for the chicken, and added dried cranberries. An excellent base recipe!

Garlic Chicken, Vegetable and Rice Skillet

Reviewed: Oct. 25, 2012
I made a few changes to this to suit our family. I was afraid that it was going to be a little on the flavorless side, but this surprised me by being a very good dish that my husband said was "stinking amazing". I used cous cous instead of rice, added about a clove more of garlic, and seasoned the chicken with seasoned salt and pepper. Followed the cooking directions to a T and it turned out amazing! I also used a blend of parmesan and asiago, and sprinkled some more on top when serving. Will be making this again!

PHILADELPHIA Vanilla Mousse Cheesecake

Reviewed: Mar. 31, 2012
This is seriously the best cheesecake I've ever had! My husband's grandmother made it for a family event and I was craving it, so I scoured Allrecipes.com and found it! I used graham cracker crust instead of the nilla wafers, and it was wonderful.

Focaccia Bread

This was easy and incredibly delicious! The cheese on top did make it a little greasy, but it was so good! Tasted like pizza without the sauce!

Easy Morning Glory Muffins

Reviewed: May 19, 2012
This is a really good base recipe! If you don't have something, it's very simple to substitute something else. To try and make these even more healthy, I substituted wheat flour for half of the all-purpose, applesauce instead of eggs, and added 2 tbsp flaxseed and pretty much cut the oil in half or more (I have NO idea why you could possibly need a whole cup! It just grosses me out.) They almost tasted like oatmeal cookie muffins!

Thai Quivering Tenderloins

Reviewed: Jul. 9, 2012
I used this as a marinade for chicken wings to go along with a Thai Chicken pizza I made. First of all, once they were BBQ'd, I honestly couldn't distinguish any of the ingredients that made up the marinade. However, they were probably the best chicken wings I've ever had! So full of flavor! We liked them so much that I made another batch to marinade over night. Will definitely be using this on many different meats.

Caramelized Chicken Wings

Reviewed: Jul. 14, 2012
This recipe is AMAZING! Per previous reviews, I cut the sugar to 1/3 cup. Since we like things spicy, I also added some red pepper flakes and hot sauce to the recipe. The chicken literally fell off the bones into your mouth! It was absolutely delicious. I added some peanuts and water chestnuts to the sauce and served over noodles and broccoli. I will be making again and again!
