Easy OREO Truffles

OMG OMG OMG@ These were FANTASTIC. I added 3/4 tsp of orange flavoring.... YAY! Love those chocolate oranges at the holidays? that's exactly the flavor but in one of the best truffles I have ever eaten. Definitely worth trying (again and again).

Chocolate Covered Cherry Cookies II

Loved these. Want to save money but still have great cookies? eliminate the melted chocolate/sweetened condensed milk and cut the cherries in half. Think of it with the full cherries and chocolate as great when you want almost a truffle, and if you want a cookie instead you can go lighter.

Molasses Banana Bread

Great recipe I cut the molasses in half, knowing I wouldn't want it that strong. Used 2 bananas, added raisens, everything else pretty much the same. Tasted GREAT, hubby loved, will make again and again. Almost like a "rum type cake" as some have mentioned.

I use a recipe just like this all the time. Try this!~ Don't use the skim milk, but instead use some broth (I even water my broth down - hey, they're dogs, they have a great sense of smell, you don't need alot! I also had an Emeril "BAM" of shredded low-fat cheese and the dogs go CRAZY for them! These rock!

Great Pumpkin Dessert

EXCELLENT!!! Wanna make it even better? Try adding a few raisons (if you like-em) and I used a "cinnamon swirl" cake mix - it comes with a pkg of cinni-topping and I added it on top of the cake mix and before the butter - VERY VERY GOOD!!

Polka Dots

This recipe is FANTASTIC - And with my little tweak you will get the best cookies ever. I start with the oil, the cake mix, the eggs and I add 1/2 PKG OF CREAM CHEESE - and baking time is 12-16 min. The cream cheese adds just the right kick. I did two variations.... 1) I used a carrot cake mix, then added white choc chips, raisins & walnuts. (next time I'll also add chopped apple) 2) I used a lemon cake mix, no chips at all. To both of these I melted milk chocolate chips in the microwave and then dipped half the cookies in chocolate - EVERYONE loves these cookes and it is by far the most amazingly versatile recipe I've ever used - the possibilites are simply endless!!!

THIS IS THE BEST POTATO SOUP WE'VE EVER EATEN. PERIOD. Make it. Try it. It's delightful. I added a wee bit of real cream and one can of campbells' cream of chicken with herbs. Dee-lightful

Irresistible Irish Soda Bread

Excellent bread. Try adding garlic & shredded cheese to one loaf, and chopped apples, brown sugar, cinnamon as a topping to the other. Freeze extra and heat in oven, excellent and really easy
