Pasties II

Reviewed: Jan. 22, 2006
Hate to rain on the parade, but I thought this was very bland. I also ended up with a lot of leftover filling because I could only fit 1/2 to 3/4 cup of filling in each pastie.

Barbeque Seitan and Black Bean Burritos

Reviewed: May 7, 2005
I hate to rain on the parade, but this one didn't do it for me...WAY too much barbecue sauce. The filling isn't bad by itself, though.

Delicious!! I follwed the recipe exactly (something I rarely do) and it turned out wonderfully.

Very good! I used 3 tablespoons of fresh lemon juice and it turned out perfectly. A delicious and easy way to enjoy spinach.

Gazpacho III

Reviewed: Aug. 15, 2004
Very good! Light and refreshing but hearty at the same time. This is nice and chunky, unlike most gazpacho recipes that call for pureeing. I added a dash of cayenne to give it a little kick.

Chinese Spicy Hot And Sour Soup

This was good, but needed a little extra kick. I will definitley make this again but perhaps add some red pepper flakes and up the vinegar. My significant other loved it as is.

Lasagna

This was okay. Even with so many spices and vegetables (and I LOVE veggies), it was missing something. Not quite as saucy as I would have liked.

Pasta With Tuna Sauce

I thought this was very bland. Perhaps with some tweaking it could be more suited to my taste, but I probably won't make it again.

Swan's Summer Soup

Wow!!! This is the perfect fresh-tasting summer soup - better than any gazpacho I have ever had. I suggest going to a farmers market or local fruit stand to get the most flavorful tomatoes possible. Thanks for a great recipe!!!

Greek Penne and Chicken

Reviewed: Jul. 2, 2004
I really enjoyed this one. The flavors come together really well. I used marinated artichokes and a little extra feta (personal preference). My only complaint is that there was way too much pasta - a 12 ounce poackage would probably be plenty.

These cookies are so flavorful and filling! Much tastier and heartier than store-bought breakfast bars. I really like using golden rasins in these. Thanks for a great recipe!

Restaurant-Style Potato Salad

Reviewed: Mar. 15, 2004
I have tried a number of potato salad recipes from AllRecipes, and this is the best! All of the flavors blend together really well so that there isn't one overpowering taste-not too vinegary or mustardy like some potato salads can be. Excellent!

Potpourri Soup

This was pretty good and easy to make. It ended up being more like 6 to 8 servings. I increased the Worcestershire and hot pepper sauce at the end quite a bit as it tasted a bit bland.
