Slow Cooker Chili

I did not care for this recipe. I should have read all the other reviews first, b/c nobody liked it as is. Way too many beans, not enough meat, no seasonings... it was bland and watery. It also takes much longer than 4 hours to cook the vegetables down tender, and there's no instruction as to breaking up the whole tomatoes... I've tried to doctor it up as best I can but it's not even close to being done cooking yet!

Pot Roast in Beer

We really loved this recipe but it was a little tough when cooked in the pan the way the recipe suggests. Next time we are going to do it in the crock pot.

Classic Chili

If you are looking for a classic chili recipe this is the one to pick. Not too spicy but lots of flavor. My husband added a little extra pepper to his to spice it up since he likes things hotter than me, but overall it was really really good.

Chicken Pot Pie IX

ABSOLUTELY THE BEST CHICKEN POT PIE EVER! Everyone who's had it says it's the best they've ever had and has asked for the recipe! It's thick and rich and amazing. I used 1.5 lbs of chicken instead of just 1 so that it's a little meatier and I left the chunks pretty big which everyone commented on liking...

UNBELIEVABLE!!! Juicy, rich flavors, seriously amazing. Maybe some of the best chicken I've ever had! If i was served that in a gourmet restaurant I'd feel it was worth my money!

This was super easy and really good. My only change would be more broccoli... I was hoping for a broccoli dish with pasta and it's more like a pasta dish with broccoli...if that makes sense.

Eggnog Cake

Definitely tastes like eggnog... a little dry, but very good! I made a glaze to go on top (2 cups confectioners suger + a few tbs of milk and 1/4 tsp rum extract) until reached the consistancy to drip over the cake. I think the glaze really made it... otherwise would have been really plain...

Chuck's Favorite Mac and Cheese

OH MY GOSH. This is the best mac and cheese I've ever had. My friend made it for me and after I had it I joined this site JUST to get the recipe. I made it for my family and some friends last night and everyone agreed it was the best ever! It's got a classic feel to it with just a bit of tang from the sour cream and cottage cheese. Holy cow was it good....
