Very good basic recipe. As others suggested, I added some garlic and bread crumbs, plus a little Italian seasoning. My picky husband had two large helpings. I'll add even more seasoning next time. It's a fun recipe to play around with.

Ham Bone Soup

Wonderful! Even my husband, who doesn't generally like soup and tolerates ham, really liked this soup. He even asked me why I didn't make more! Make sure to use a ham bone with some meat and fat on it, otherwise this would taste more like vegetable soup.

Cornbread Stuffing With Sausage

Actually Delicious Turkey Burgers

My husband was very skeptical about trying these but admitted that "they were better than expected." I followed the recipe exactly but next time I will add a little more spice and some W sauce. You do need to be careful of them falling apart on the grill. They don't hold together very well until they are cooked a bit so wait a little bit longer to turn these then you would beef hambergers.

Enchiladas Suizas

I thought it was great; hubby thought it was good; but, kids would only eat the chicken and cheese on the inside. It was very messy to make but that could also be the result of my inexperience working with tortillas.
