Spicy Chicken Thai Soup

Reviewed: Oct. 9, 2013
This is probably my favorite meal. I use chicken breast instead of thighs and I serve over white basmati rice. Delicious!

Spicy Sweet Potato and Coconut Soup

Reviewed: Oct. 9, 2013
This soup is sooo yummy....I made two changes, I used chicken broth instead of the veg broth and I pureed the soup in a blender just before adding the lemon juice. Great fall soup!

Grilled Lemon Chicken

Reviewed: Sep. 17, 2013
Wow! This chicken was great! I marinated it for about 5 hours and it made the meat super tender. I cut the Dijon mustard just a little (about 2 tsp. instead of a T) because I didn't want the mustard to overpower the lemon. Delicious!

This sushi rice is awesome! It gives it just a hint of flavor just like in a sushi bar.

Cucumber Sunomono

Reviewed: May 10, 2013
This tasted very salty, next time I will try omitting the salt. Sesame seeds are a nice addition.

Bearnaise Sauce II

Reviewed: Jan. 8, 2013
This bearnaise sauce was delicious! Chicken Oscar is one of my favorite dishes, but this was my first time making the bearnaise from scratch...and I will never go back to the packaged bearnaise sauce mix. I DID make some changes to the recipe...I didn't have any white wine vinegar so I used brown rice vinegar. I also omitted the cayenne and substituted dried parsley for fresh. I used half and half instead of cream and I also used the stovetop method because I prefer not to use a microwave. When I tasted it, it was a bit lemony (maybe from not having the heavy cream), so I added about 1 1/2 T of half and half and one more pinch of tarragon. This sauce was delectable atop my Chicken Oscar!
