Sweet Pepper Pasta Toss with Kale
I used brown rice (gluten-free) rotini, and tossed in some sliced turkey sweet italian sausage. I used goat cheese (casein-free) rather than feta, and not quite as much as called for. Other than that, I made exactly as specified, and it was phenomenal!! First time using kale...and it adds a neat sort of meaty dark green flavor, which is mellowed nicely by the peppers. The cayenne and basil compliment it nicely. I'll definitely make this one again - thanks MOTTSBELA!

Acorn Squash Gnocchi with Parmesan Sage Beurre Blanc
I made the gnocchi themselves as written, adding (as others have mentioned) more white flower until the dough became workable. I didn't have the ingredients for the sauce, so I just tossed the gnocchi with butter and sage. I wondered, while they were cooking, if they'd be worth the work...they were! Great recipe, thank you!

Cranberry Upside-Down Sour Cream Cake
Two things - really do cover the bottom of the Springform generously with foil, without holes, because the syrup will leak through, and burn in the oven (and set off all your smoke detectors). I went by guess and by golly for a holiday party, though, and it turned out fine. Great recipe!
