Garbanzo Bean Chocolate Cake (Gluten Free!)

Reviewed: Aug. 7, 2011
When I made this cake, I was expecting it to taste like chickpeas! Surprisingly, it didn't! But this cake did have a strange texture, it was really smooth, but tasted like regular chocolate cake. There was a lot of guesswork involved when making this, as we only had a very small food processor we could only do sections of the beans at a time. So if you want to follow this recipe to the Tee, your cling to have to have a large food processor!

Monte Cristo Sandwich - the Real One

Reviewed: Mar. 26, 2011
Delicious! I was alone with my grandma and we wanted something a little more interesting than plain pasta or pizza. When I suggested this my grandma was like cheering. This was so easy to make! The ingredients are ones that you usually have around the house, so you don't have to make a special trip to the grocery store for ingredients. If you want to try something new and interesting for lunch or dinner I suggest this!

Beth's Chocolate Chip Cookies

Reviewed: Mar. 16, 2011
These cookies are so very delicious! These are very chocolatey. Although, I didn't find them chewy. Mine were cakey. I don't know if I did something wrong. I used wheat flour so maybe that caused it? I'm not sure. I didn't have a whole cup of brown sugar so I used my 3/4 of a cup and they turned out fine. I lengthened the time to 14 mintues, after 14 mintues they were absoluetly done.

Cinnamon Rolls II

Reviewed: Feb. 13, 2011
Delicious! Although this was long and complicated it was totally worth it! I halved the recipe. I made these last night and let them rise over night. They weren't as massive as I thought they were going to be. I took another reviewers advice and used a whole package of cream cheese and that worked well! I didn't have any confectioners sugar so I used white sugar for that and I couldn't taste anything wrong with that! It was difficult to roll the dough into a square. It kept turning into an oval. Two words of advice, use water to seal the seam in the cinnamon rolls, I didn't and a couple of them were falling apart in the oven. Make sure when you cook them that they are close together, this makes the edges soft! This recipe is definetly a keeper! Beware these are very sugary so you can only eat 1 and 1/2 at the max! Thanks for the recipe!

Easy Beer Bread Mix

Reviewed: Feb. 10, 2011
So delicious! This beer bread is the easiest and tastes exactly like tastefully simple beer bread! I used Yeingling beer and it gave it a very nice flavor! Though I found that the time was shorter when I did this recipe. Though it won't win in beauty contests it tasted amazing. Thanks for the recipe!

Mrs. Sigg's Snickerdoodles

Reviewed: Dec. 20, 2010
I have no idea what I did wrong but whenI completed making the dough it was so gooey I couldn't make it into balls. So I then set it in the fridge to give it a little time to set and 2 hours later I took it out and after 5 mintues it was back in its gooey state. When I got them rolled out and in the oven, I cooked them 8 mintues as instructed and they were very crispy when they got out. So then I made the balls lots fatter and got some good cookies out of that. Next time I'm gonna let them set and make big balls. *December 22* As of today these are the best. I still have no idea what I did wrong then^ but they worked out today! They are still a little harder than I would've liked... but they were a lot better!

Dark Chocolate Cake I

Reviewed: Dec. 16, 2010
This cake was amazing! My sisters hate dark chocolate and said they didn't want any cake but had some and loved it. We all fought for the last peice! This cake is a definite keeper. The only bad thing about it was when we put it in a container, something happened with condensation and got peices too moist. But mostly the other pieces were delicious and just moist enough!
