Christmas Breakfast Sausage Casserole

Reviewed: Dec. 30, 2012
This was fantastic - a big hit with my entire family. I followed the directions to a "T", only making one substitution - which was to use a bag of croutons rather than the toast. Easy, tasty and filling. I guess that meets all of the criteria! : )

Crispy Rosemary Chicken and Fries

Reviewed: Sep. 30, 2012
This was a great meal - my family agreed. I did almost nothing outside the instructions, except that I used dried Rosemary and Oregano (1 teaspoon of each) and I drained the juice after 30 minutes of cooking. Super simple, quick clean-up, incredible aroma, and delicious flavor. I HIGHLY recommend this one.

Shrimp Scampi V

Extremely simple - and extremely rich, too. Family loved it and it was about as simple a recipe as I own! Great meal.

Garlic Chicken with Orzo Noodles

Reviewed: Jan. 26, 2012
Very good - we like it with chicken, but we LOVE it with mushrooms instead. Same recipe, less time to cook!

Slow Cooker Chicken Marrakesh

Reviewed: Oct. 27, 2011
Maybe this is really a 4.5 star recipe, but it's better than just 4. Good flavor, smells GREAT. Authentic look, taste and feel to this dish. I doubled all of the spices, except for the cumin; also added a 1/2 teaspoon of cayenne pepper cuz I just can't help myself! My wife really, really enjoyed it - even more than I did.

Shrimp Lemon Pepper Linguini

Reviewed: Oct. 26, 2011
Excellent recipe - though I had to change a few things out of necessity. Didn't have any lemon, so I excluded both it and the pepper; only had dry parsley and dry basil (instead of fresh), but they worked very well. I also increased the chicken broth to 3/4 of a cup and the wine to 2/3 of a cup. It was fantastic! Better than my local Italian restaurant makes!

Laura's Quick Slow Cooker Turkey Chili

Reviewed: Oct. 22, 2011
A good, easy-to-make recipe. Like others, I substituted 2 cans of diced tomatoes with green chili's for the tomato soup (I just couldn't bring myself to even TRY the soup - just doesn't jive for me). I followed everything else to the letter and boy was it easy. The house smelled great, the chili was tasty and just a bit spicy. A definite keeper.

Squash and Apple Bake

Reviewed: Oct. 22, 2011
This was great! Believe it or not, it was even better the next day COLD! (It tastes surprisingly close to pumpkin pie when cold.) I spent considerable time peeling the squash and apples, but other than that it was simple. Like others suggested, not having mace, I used a bit of nutmeg and added some cinnamon and vanilla as well. I'll be making this for Thanksgiving and I'm sure I'll get rave reviews.

It's a cool day today and soup sounded like an excellent idea - and boy was I right! This recipe is very, very good. I suggest you don't change a thing!

Roasted Beets 'n' Sweets

Reviewed: Sep. 26, 2011
Interesting combination. The beets sure made a mess, though! My wife swears canned beets would be just as good, but I'm not so sure. If I were to make changes, I'd reduce the pepper to 1/2 t-spoon and increase the sugar to 1 T.

Papa Drexler's Bavarian Pretzels

Reviewed: Sep. 21, 2011
Excellent recipe. I had no idea that making these would be this easy - or turn out so well. Straight-forward, simple to follow recipe. Had a slight problem with them maintaining their shape after bathing them in the water/baking soda, but some practice should help!

Classic Goulash

Excellent meal - and easy to prepare. I followed the directions exactly and can't come up with anything that I'd change. My wife wants this meal at least every other week from this point forward!

Buffalo Chicken Stromboli by Pillsbury®

Reviewed: Sep. 3, 2011
This was a GREAT recipe for a Saturday afternoon football game. Rather than a pizza crust, I simply used thawed, frozen bread dough. Other than that, the recipe was followed and the result was great. I'll make this to share with friend durring MNF season!
