Country Fried Steak and Milk Gravy
This is a good basic country fried steak recipe....pretty similar to what you'll get most places. I do mine a touch different. I crush saltines and mix that with the flour (about a 50/50 mixture)along with some pepper and seasoned salt. I also use an egg/milk mixture to dip them in. You can use any type of oil (I use whatever I have on hand). I also add pepper and seasoned salt to my gravy, and make much more...am guessing I about triple it(I don't measure anything so it's hard to say for sure). I also use a cast iron skillet. Make sure the oil is hot before you start cooking, and don't turn the steaks too soon or the coating will fall off.

Bacon Ranch Macaroni Salad
This salad was ok, but I had to adjust the recipe. Using a full pound of macaroni, I had to almost double the ranch dressing. I used shredded cheese because that's what I had on hand I think I liked it better than I would have liked cubed. I also wish I had used miracle whip instead of mayo because it needed a little zing (I guess I could have added a little vinegar, but didn't think about it at the time). Good starter recipe and easily adjustable to your tastes.

Easy Chocolaty Brownies
I made these not long ago and thought it'd be great for something quick and chocolatey. It is quick and easy. They were just ok hot, but we didn't care for them after that. It's kind of bland and needs something to give that little punch. It's not often any dessert gets thrown out in my house of three boys, but the rest of these did.
