Me and Youngest Grandson
About this Cook
I was born and raised in Alaska. I now live close to the Alaska/Canadian border. I love to cross stitch, spoil my schipperke. He loves my baking, but, only on the day I bake and never the next day.
My favorite things to cook
I love to bake Mini Muffins, specialty cookies, cakes, and learning different countries and how they cook.
My favorite family cooking traditions
My father at a very young age told me how good something was (now older know that it was HORRIBLE) and tell me how good it was. I loved to bake with my sons and grandchildren.
My cooking triumphs
Making a 4 tier 50th annivarsary cake. It turned out beautiful.
My cooking tragedies
Making my first teriyaki sauce. It was so bad I couldn't even choke it down. And my 1st turkey. I put every spice in the cubboard. It was truly terrible. I was only 11 when I did that. Decided to help my dad while he was sleeping.
