Cracked Sugar Cookies I
Wow, Amazing! My previous sugar cookie attempts have been disastrous. Quite possibly because I never have the time or patience to wait for the dough to chill. These were absolutely incredible!! I followed recipe exactly as written (it's only fair when writing a review after all). They were perfect, great flavor, great texture. The second time I substituted brown sugar for the white, since I love brown sugar cookies! Yum!! The texture was a little different (to be expected), and the cracks were not as pronounced but flavor was delicious. I will probably use the original recipe the majority of the time, but the brown sugar makes for a nice change now and then. My family LOVES them either way, and we never have any leftover. Thanks for my new go-to cookie recipe!!

Anniversary Chicken I
Oh so good! I was making this for a 35th anniversary dinner serving around 15 people and because of some reviews was worried about the dish being too salty. Instead of the teriyaki (which did strike me as a little strange) just to be safe, I substituted barbeque sauce. For everything else, I stuck to the recipe and it turned out awesome!! I served it with a prepackaged Asian salad kit from the produce section, and I sliced potatoes and used a heart shaped cookie cutter to punch out the potatoes for roasting. Everything was a smashing success, thanks for sharing!

Mexican Brownies
These were awesome!! I have so many chile pequins I don't know what to do with them all. The majority of the company that I had over when I made these were hispanic. They didn't get the 'mexican' brownie thing, but for me (a transplant from up north) the addition of cinnamon and chiles made them totally mexican. Yum! I just used plain cinnamon since I'm not a food connoisseur, I couldn't tell the difference. Next time I would probably double the chiles though. Either way, this is my favorite brownie recipe ever! Thank you!!
