Anniversary Chicken I
Oh so good! I was making this for a 35th anniversary dinner serving around 15 people and because of some reviews was worried about the dish being too salty. Instead of the teriyaki (which did strike me as a little strange) just to be safe, I substituted barbeque sauce. For everything else, I stuck to the recipe and it turned out awesome!! I served it with a prepackaged Asian salad kit from the produce section, and I sliced potatoes and used a heart shaped cookie cutter to punch out the potatoes for roasting. Everything was a smashing success, thanks for sharing!

Mexican Brownies
These were awesome!! I have so many chile pequins I don't know what to do with them all. The majority of the company that I had over when I made these were hispanic. They didn't get the 'mexican' brownie thing, but for me (a transplant from up north) the addition of cinnamon and chiles made them totally mexican. Yum! I just used plain cinnamon since I'm not a food connoisseur, I couldn't tell the difference. Next time I would probably double the chiles though. Either way, this is my favorite brownie recipe ever! Thank you!!

Pumpkin Black Bean Soup
One word - Amazing!!! Normally I'm not a huge fan of soup, but my husband loves it. It's getting chilly out so I thought I'd give it a try with our sandwiches the other night. Oh, my goodness - so GOOD!! Even my kids ate it and loved it! Thanks to this recipe, I've been officially converted to a soup eater. In my opinion, you HAVE to add the ham or the soup would miss the mark. I thought that it would throw the flavor off, but I was very wrong. It came out perfect. I used rice vinegar and added a just a dash of cumino. We had leftovers so I brought it to friends and family - everyone asked for the recipe. This soup is even better as leftovers. Definitely will be keeping this recipe. Awesome, thanks for sharing. It's my new favorite go to for chilly fall days!!!
