Cabbage and Pasta

Reviewed: Jan. 19, 2011
I loved this dish! I made a few changes, however. Being Italian American, I grew up having a bowl of pasta with butter, and a little salt & pepper, so I am always looking for pasta dishes. I used it as the recipe suggested, but used whole wheat pasta shells, and only 1/2 of a 13 oz package. I used minced onion, and garlic salt instead of the garlic and onion, and added a little salt & pepper. Also, I like my cabbage crisp tender, so cooking for only 7 minutes was enough for me. The butter paired really well with the pasta and cabbage. I also love parmesean cheese with pasta, and added a little to my dish before serving. Cheese is a little salty, so you might want to use very little salt in the cabbage. Also, this is a quick dish, I had it ready in 35 minutes, and served it with nothing else, but some hot pull apart rolls.....Delicious!

Mocha au Lait Mix

Reviewed: Jan. 19, 2011
This was ok, but it did not have a chocolate taste like I expected, and was not very sweet.

The Best Ever Chicken Nuggets

Reviewed: Jan. 19, 2011
These are very tasy, and crispy. We really enjoyed them. I did not have the garlic salt, so I had to substitute some all purpose seasoning, but they were still good, because the batter was not too heavy.

Cannoli I

Reviewed: Jan. 17, 2011
This was my first time making cannoli's and I thought that they were very good, just like i remembered having them as a child. I drained the cheese in a cheese cloth by separating the cheese into thirds and wrapping a piece of cheese cloth around it to form a ball and began squeezing the bottom and from the top alternately untill it was fairly dry, but, I wanted some moisture remaining. I also added more mini chocolate chips than called for, and some chopped pecans. I plan on making more!
