Chicken Cordon Bleu II

We've made this 5 or 6 times and we LOVE it. I wish I knew a way to keep the cheese inside the chicken (it always melts out!!)...but regardless...it's a great dish that we will make over and over again!

Easy Garlic Broiled Chicken

Great recipe. Really easy, really tasty. We baked at 350 for about 45 minutes, turning once and basting...and then broiled each side for about 3 minutes at the end. They turned out perfectly.

Chicken Marsala

Per the advice of other reviewers, I made a few minor changes and thought this dish was amazing!! I LOVED it! Before adding the chicken, I threw in a few pressed garlic cloves and half of a vidalia onion...then I doubled the mushrooms and the "sauce" - using 1 1/2 cups of marsala wine instead of the sherry - and at the end I added about a 1/2 cup heavy whipping cream to make a cream sauce....served over angel hair - YUM... healthy? NO...though I would say it's worth the splurge every now and then!!

Buttermilk Pancakes II

A-M-A-Z-I-N-G... I have honestly NEVER made homemade pancakes...I usually just add water to a box mix...but we had buttermilk in the house from another meal...so we gave these a try. They were SO good. My husband is a great cook, and he loves good food, and the first word out of his mouth was "phenomenal". We will make these again. One thing to note... We only had 2.5 cups of buttermilk in the house, so we adjusted the recipe to 10 servings...and that was a joke...there were WAY more than 10 servings... GREAT RECIPE!

Easy Mushroom Rice

I accidentally bought chicken broth...per the advice of others, I opted to buy cream of mushroom soup instead of the French onion..and I used fresh mushrooms instead of canned and it turned out awesome! My husband loved it. I'm going to try it again with the beef broth, but wasn't disappointed with the chicken!

Chicken With Mushrooms

GREAT recipe!! Did take the advice of others and cooked the mushrooms before hand, added a can of cream of mushroom soup to the chicken broth...and actually added 1/2 of a vidalia onion...this was AMAZING. I'd also recommend adding the cheese at the end. Served it over rice...my husband LOVED it, I loved it...so good. Thank you!!

California Grilled Veggie Sandwich

This was AWESOME!! I cut up onions, zucc/squash, red pepper and shitake mushrooms and threw them in a grill basket with some olive oil, salt and pepper. Our local grocery store was out of foccacia so I just got a good bakery roll...and I swapped out the feta for some goat cheese - just based on personal preference...this was AWESOME. Way better than I expected...I'll make this again in a heart beat!! Thank you for the awesome recipe!

This was delicious!! Made it this weekend!! It definitely didn't feed 15 of our group...it was gone in no time! Next time I make it, I'll probably use a touch less sour cream - it was almost "too moist"...if there is such a thing! So tasty!!

Boilermaker Tailgate Chili

My husband made this yesterday afternoon - heated it up for lunch today - AWESOME chili!! He isn't really a "measuring spoon" kind of guy, so I'm sure he just tossed things in, but following the ingredients list closely...this is great. He said, "It's the best chili I've ever made" - and he's made a lot of chili in his day. Thanks for an awesome recipe!!!

Slow Cooker Buffalo Chicken Sandwiches

Made this last night for my buffalo-wing-loving husband! He loved it!! I used more sauce than recommended, shredded it after 5 hours and then let it sit in the crockpot for another 45 minutes. We loved it!! Definitely think the sauce makes this though... We will try a better bottle of sauce next time - one from our favorite wing spot... Don't think the stuff off the grocery store shelf did this sandwich justice!!

Savory Grilled Potatoes

These tasted amazing...but they actually looked kind of gross... Any suggestions for how to avoid the funky looking mayo?? I made them for some friends who raved about them and asked for the recipe over and over again... They were really tasty...just wish I could have ended up with a better presentation.

Ground Beef Enchiladas

Good recipe. Found that I had way more of the cheese/soup/yogurt mixture than I needed - and I cut the beef down to 1 lb and I still had extra!! We used corn tortillas, which I love...but may go for flour next time as they are bigger and may allow for more filling!

Mama's Asian Chicken and Rice

This was ok. I doubled the sauce per other reviewers recommendations and I am glad I did - we are definitely "sauce" people... but the chicken was pretty blah. I'm not sure what I could have done differently - I suppose it's hard to cook chicken breasts in cubes and not expect that they'll be a little tough/dry...
