Tricolor Pasta Salad

Reviewed: Jan. 11, 2011
Good recipe with easy ingredients. Next time I will leave out the garlic salt, too strong of an after taste for me. I did add sunflower seeds and Parmesan cheese, turned out really good.

BREAKSTONE'S Fruit-Filled Coffee Cake

Reviewed: Jan. 25, 2011
I was disappointed with this recipe. It turned out beautiful but I expected it to be a wow and it just didn't live up to expectations. It was okay but not something I would make again.

Chicken Enchilada Casserole I

Reviewed: Feb. 15, 2015
Tasty but even with omitting the chicken broth I thought a little too runny. It was messy to dish but I added fresh tomatoes, green onions and sliced olives on top and it made the overall presentation nicer. The family enjoyed it and it was easy to make.

Broccoli Coleslaw

Reviewed: Jan. 25, 2011
The family really liked this recipe. I did half the oil and I am glad I did because it was plenty oily enough. The ramen noodles and sunflower seeds gave it is a great crunch that everyone loved. It was a tasty way to get broccoli into a meal.

Grandma's Lemon Meringue Pie

Reviewed: Jan. 11, 2011
Tasty and easy to make. Next time I will double the filling recipe, I prefer a fuller pie. I used my own meringue recipe by adding the cream of tarter and vanilla. Overall it is yummy and worthy of making again.

Baked Teriyaki Chicken

Reviewed: Jan. 3, 2011
This was the best Teriyaki Chicken I have ever made. I did use light brown sugar instead of white sugar. One word of advise is to use foil to line your pan it is a mess to clean without it. This is a family favorite that I will continue to make for years to come.

Super Duper Easy Apple Cake

Reviewed: Mar. 22, 2015
Very tasty and easy to make. Followed the recipe exactly as written, the cake is moist and delicious. Be sure to use the full amount of Granny Smith apples chopped fine, the flavor it adds is amazing. Thank you for sharing.

Cocktail Meatballs IV

Reviewed: Mar. 3, 2015
Excellent & Easy. I used frozen meatballs and since I don't have a dutch oven I just tossed the sauce ingredients in a large pot and once heated I added the meatballs. I coated the meatballs and let them simmer in the sauce for a half hour until sticky and delicious. I will defiantly make again. Thank you for sharing.

Apple Ugly Cake

Reviewed: Feb. 10, 2015
I followed the recipe exactly as written and it was finished after 1 hour in oven instead of 1 1/2 hours, so be careful in your baking time. Even though it was enjoyable warm with ice cream and then again with coffee in the morning I can't say it is a favorite and I will most likely look for another recipe for the next patch of apples I want to turn into dessert.

Grandma's Apple Dumplings

Reviewed: May 29, 2014
Very tasty and so simple. Followed recipe as written, I was a little short on sugar but it didn't seem to matter. I had extra apple so I just added to dish next to wrapped pasty and they just cooked in the juices and were delicious. I topped with non-fat Cool Whip - it was great. This is a recipe I will make again and do recommend.

Baked Spaghetti

Reviewed: Oct. 18, 2013
This has now become a family favorite. I have made a couple changes for personal taste. I use spicy sausage instead of ground beef and add more sauce. I usually make my own sauce but either way works great. Be sure to do the eggs, Parmesan cheese, and butter with your noodles, it really makes the recipe. My family thinks the left overs are better than the first night but I don't agree. Add a fresh salad and garlic bread and it is a wonderful meal.

Apple Kuchen

Reviewed: Nov. 22, 2012
Made this today 'Thanksgiving 2012' I was very disappointed with the 'cake mix' crust, it was dry and hard. I did scoop up the apple mixture into serving bowls and added whip cream, it was okay but it wasn't what I was hoping for. The cake mix needs something added for moisture, I doubled the sauce recipe hoping that would add moisture but it only made the topping yummy but no help to the cake. I have ideas on how to make it better but I would rather make a recipe I can count on and leave this one behind.
