Made this today 'Thanksgiving 2012' I was very disappointed with the 'cake mix' crust, it was dry and hard. I did scoop up the apple mixture into serving bowls and added whip cream, it was okay but it wasn't what I was hoping for. The cake mix needs something added for moisture, I doubled the sauce recipe hoping that would add moisture but it only made the topping yummy but no help to the cake. I have ideas on how to make it better but I would rather make a recipe I can count on and leave this one behind.

Quick Creamy Chicken and Noodles

Broccoli Coleslaw

The family really liked this recipe. I did half the oil and I am glad I did because it was plenty oily enough. The ramen noodles and sunflower seeds gave it is a great crunch that everyone loved. It was a tasty way to get broccoli into a meal.

Tricolor Pasta Salad

Good recipe with easy ingredients. Next time I will leave out the garlic salt, too strong of an after taste for me. I did add sunflower seeds and Parmesan cheese, turned out really good.

Grandma's Lemon Meringue Pie

Tasty and easy to make. Next time I will double the filling recipe, I prefer a fuller pie. I used my own meringue recipe by adding the cream of tarter and vanilla. Overall it is yummy and worthy of making again.

Baked Teriyaki Chicken

This was the best Teriyaki Chicken I have ever made. I did use light brown sugar instead of white sugar. One word of advise is to use foil to line your pan it is a mess to clean without it. This is a family favorite that I will continue to make for years to come.
