Chocolate Peanut Butter Squares

These are amazing! Based on previous suggestions I doubled the chocolate (both the chocolate chips and the margarine) and they turned out perfectly. I won't even admit how many of these I ate yesterday. Added peanut butter to my grocery list already... LOL

Sweet Potato Souffle II

Great recipe! I found it a bit too sweet with the coconut but without the coconut it is just right. I've served this at several holiday dinners now and everyone loves it.

Chocolate Cavity Maker Cake

This cake is fantastic. Definitely moist, rich, and chocolate-y. I made it exactly as written and it turned out great. Had a couple of requests for this recipe already!

Chocolate Decadence Cake I

Chocolate Chip Cookies I

Fabulous recipe! I have made these cookies three times now and loved them every time. After a little experimenting I found what works best for me is using 1/4 cup margarine and 1/4 shortening. Gives just the right texture for my preference.

Buttermilk Pancakes II

Noodles Alfredo

Not too happy with the way this one turned out. Having read the previous reviews I added the parmesan 1/4 cup at a time and stopped at 3/4 cup. I was expecting more of a smooth, creamy sauce and this turned out oily and grainy. I won't be making this recipe again.

Depression Cake III

I'm afraid I have to agree with the last reviewer as to why this is called "depression cake". I ate one slice of this cake and threw the rest away - talk about depressing! The flavour wasn't bad but the texture was brutal, it was very dry and tough. I can't see myself making this one again without some major changes, although I wouldn't even know where to begin. Sorry!

Ginger Glazed Mahi Mahi

I followed the recipe exactly and was extremely disappointed. The honey in the marinade caused my fish to burn on the outside after two minutes on med-high heat. Fortunately I didn't wait the full 4-6 minutes before realizing that and was able to save the fish by finishing it in the oven. Though the fish itself turned out okay in the end I did not care for the glaze. All I could taste was balsamic and soy sauce and it completely overwhelmed the honey and ginger flavours and, most importantly, the fish itself! Save your mahi mahi for another recipe!
