Flatlander Chili

Reviewed: Dec. 6, 2009
As previous reviewers suggested, I made this with tomato sauce instead of tomato juice and diced tomatoes instead of the sauce. I also used 1c chopped peppers. Incredibly tasty! Not too spicy, has a little kick though.

Irish Cream Chocolate Cheesecake

Reviewed: Mar. 19, 2009
I adjusted this to 8 servings and made it in a mini cheesecake pan, halved the flour, and doubled the Irish cream. It was so rich and so good!! Now I just wish I had another excuse to make it!

Buffalo Chicken Dip

Reviewed: Apr. 13, 2008
Great Recipe. I use Blue cheese and cooked chicken in mine, and serve it with tortilla chips and philly soft pretzels, cut into bite size chunks.

Chicken Cordon Bleu I

Reviewed: Apr. 13, 2008
This is a very good recipe. As suggested by others, I dipped the chicken in egg before the breadcrumbs. Also, instead of using a honey mustard sauce as suggested, I spread honey mustard on the chicken before I put down the meat & cheese.

Orange Chicken Stir Fry

Reviewed: Mar. 20, 2008
This is a great sauce for adding to Chicken Stir fry. I added some frozen carrots, peas, broccoli and green beans to the sauce as well as a dash or two of ginger and served over rice.

Aloha Coleslaw

Reviewed: Jun. 27, 2006
This is very similar to my cole slaw recipe, except I use less mayo (i don't measure it, just til it looks right), and I also add a dash of pepper and 1/4t Celery seed. I won't eat cole slaw that doesn't have pineapple in it, it really masks the fact that you are just eating mayo & cabbage.

Spinach Dip I

Reviewed: Jun. 27, 2006
This is a 5-star recipe ONLY if you use Knorr's LEEK soup mix. It's the best for this. I always serve it in a bread bowl.

Chicken Wing Dip

Reviewed: Jun. 23, 2006
This is sooo addicting! I used blue cheese dressing instead of the ranch, and used 4 breasts of chicken. I mixed in a half cup of the cheese during the melting step, baked for 25 min, sprinkled the rest of top, and baked 5 more minutes. Perfect with tostitos scoops to get all the chicken.

Apple Pie by Grandma Ople

Reviewed: May 20, 2006
This pie is fantastic. I make it for every holiday meal. I usually half the recipe for the sugar mixture, so it's not so rich.

Spinach Tomato Tortellini

Reviewed: May 20, 2006
Worth all 5 stars! We've had this for dinner twice in the past month, and enjoyed it both times. I just used plain tomatoes.

Fresh Southern Peach Cobbler

Reviewed: May 20, 2006
This recipe is so good! I was short on peaches, and I think it will definitely be better with the correct amount. I added 1/2 c of Blueberries after the fruit cooked, and it turned out great!

Berry Lemon Mousse Parfait

Reviewed: May 15, 2006
This was so good! Instead of spooning into glasses, I mashed up the fruit with some sugar, and spooned the fruit into shortcakes and topped with the cream and more fruit. It was a wonderful mother's day dessert

Annie's Fruit Salsa and Cinnamon Chips

Reviewed: Jul. 17, 2004
I have made this recipe countless times, everyone loves it! I find that using frozen raspberries, drained, instead of fresh is easire & cheaper. I use Blackberry jam, I think it adds a nice flavor. Also, using an egg slicer/wedger for the kiwi & strawberries really cuts down on prep time. Just use it very slowly & carefully with the strawberries. I've made this a day or two in advance and had no problems.
