Lemonade Pie V

Reviewed: Jul. 11, 2002
This is an unappetizing pie with a processed taste. It is neither impressive to serve nor pleasing to the palette. I do NOT recommend this pie at all. Perhaps the exception is if you are working with a child who is just learning about pies / cooking.

Ida's Lemon Mousse

Reviewed: May 12, 2002
My sister made this for Mother's Day & it was absolutely delicious! I love that it is a little tart. It tastes similar to the filling on lemon meringue pie. She used sugar-free gelatin & light Cool Whip, so it was not too caloric. We just loved it!!! Good job. :)

Best Bruschetta Ever

Reviewed: Apr. 26, 2002
This is delicious & tastes better the longer you let it sit in the fridge. I tasted it, & although it was very delicious, wanted to add my own special "touch" to it. So I added a splash of Balsamic Vinegar, some red pepper flakes, salt, & freshly ground black pepper. We used fresh basil, & may consider adding some onion next time. This is a great basic recipe that you can customize to your desire. You can add fresh herbs (oregano, parsley, rosemary, etc.), different cheeses (Romano, Asiago), etc. Have fun with it. Enjoy on a crusty baguette.

Gooey Butter Cookies

Reviewed: Apr. 15, 2002
These cookies are incredibly delicious! I made them for a bake sale, and although they appeared kind of plain at first, once people tasted them, they came back for more! I cannot wait to try this recipe with different flavors of cake mix next time. If you are lucky enough to have any left, they taste even better a few hours after they come out of the oven. One warning, though: It may seem as though the baking time may be off, but DO NOT OVERBAKE. It is just about right. The cookies will continue to cook a bit once they are out of the oven. They are soft and just melt in your mouth. The last thing you want is a burned cookie. Definitely try this one. Mmm mmm good.

Salmon in the Dishwasher

Reviewed: Apr. 1, 2002
My mom has this recipe in her recipe box. She told me that she has made it before and enjoyed it. So, everyone who is writing these reviews: If you have not tried a recipe, why even bother to review it? You don't need to be rude about it either. Remember the old saying: "If you don't have anything nice to say, don't say anything at all?"

Delicious! I would highly recommend substituting butter for margarine and sprinkling some sugar on top before baking. Enjoy!
