Janet's Rich Banana Bread

Reviewed: Aug. 13, 2011
I thought I had a great banana bread recipe. doesnt everyone? so I had 5 bananas, pretty black and decided to make this. like others I had to make some changes to what I had. I used some olive oil, apple sauce, yogurt and brown sugar like all of you! and this was by far the best banana bread I have ever made. stuck some choc chips in there and the bread is gone. need to make more.

Cedar Planked Salmon

Reviewed: Aug. 9, 2011
holy cow... my husband who doesnt not like salmon loved it. my daughter said it was the best salmon ever. I followed the recipe exact except soaking the plank for about 7 hours. also, in case you are wondering, I usualy go for wild soho caught, but decided to try the fattier farm raised on this one. it was the right choise.

Brown Sugar Banana Nut Bread I

Reviewed: Apr. 28, 2011
nice, not sweet at all. if you lik sweet add 1/4 more cup. texture is perfect. i skipped the walnuts and sprinkled the top with a crumble mixture. increase the salt, otherwise kind of bland.

Beer Batter Waffles

Reviewed: Apr. 25, 2011
used shock top, a wheat beer and left a bitter finish after a bite. but overall, the batter turned out beautiful and no overnighter! use beer with less flavor. oh and used buttermilk.

Chewy Coconut Cookies

Reviewed: Apr. 12, 2011
pretty awesome cookies. I shredded my own coconut, therefore unsweetened coconut was used, and these cookies were plenty sweet, cut back on the sugar a bit. and might improve with some macadamian nuts tossed in it.
