German Chocolate Cake III

This takes awhile to make, but it is worth the effort! Followed the recipe exactly. I did make extra icing, as suggested though. Husband's birthday cake :-)

Cedar Planked Salmon

First time using cedar plank on grill. A LOT LOT LOT of smoke while cooking. (Maybe I did the grill too high?) The flavor of this dish is AMAZING! I served it to company who visited me in FL from overseas (Japan). Everyone loved it! Thanks!

Better Slow Cooker Robust Chicken

I was just wondering, if someone changes the recipe, by REMOVING four of the ingredients, and then adding an ingredient that is NOT on the recipe, how can there be a bad rating? THAT was not the recipe listed. Maybe people would like it if they followed the recipe. I do not know the person who created this recipe, I was just searching for one. And SO many times I see bad reviews, on the recipe but it had been 'adjusted'. They just gave their OWN cooking a bad review, right? (Opening a can of worms, Hmmm?) Sorry, just my 2 cents

To Die For Blueberry Muffins

I HAD to compliment the chef on this recipe! I have gone through AT LEAST a dozen muffin recipes just to throw them away, when the results were only so so. I wanted a muffin that was like something you could get in a coffee shop, and HERE IT IS! THESE turn out great, I doubled the batch, and used 1/2 brn. sugar. I didn't have to double the crumb topping. My batter didn't turn blue w/blueberries, and I have decided this is ALWAYS going to be my 'base' for muffins. Today we made strawberry, and they were just as good. thank you thank you, a KEEPER, FINALLY!

Kentucky Butter Cake

I was searching for my 'first' poundcake to make, ever, when I came across this one. It turned out SO tasty, and my family all loved it. I didn't have butter, but used butter flavored shortening, and it still was great. My only change will be to use half the sauce on the bottom, then after it is cooled, I will re-heat and pour sauce over the top, too. Thank you, from a Kentucky Resident!
