Herb Roasted Turkey Breast

Reviewed: Nov. 28, 2004
Delicious...did not change a thing, execpt, I spread 2 TBSP butter under the turkey breast skin, and then followed it with the spices. I also cooked the breast upside down on the rack, so that all of the juices would run down into the breast meat. My husband thought it was awesome! Thanks for sharing this one.

Wild Rice and Asparagus Chicken Breasts

Reviewed: Mar. 1, 2004
Delicious!!! My family raved about this, (even tho my 5 year old picked out the asparagus), and my hubby said that it would put our favorite Chinese food restaurant out of business. Give this a try, you won't be disappointed!

Simple Whole Wheat Bread

Reviewed: Feb. 24, 2004
DELICIOUS, DELICIOUS, DELICIOUS...!!!!!! I made this today, used rapid rise yeast, and followed the directions exactly. In 4 hours time I had 3 large loaves of baked whole wheat bread. This recipe is awesome, and I would not change it at all! Thanks a lot for sharing this one.

Butternut Squash Soup

Reviewed: Nov. 12, 2003
DELICIOUS, DELICIOUS DELICIOUS. You will not be disappointed with this soup. I did use other's advice, and baked the squash in the oven, then hollowed out the pulp. I made this recipe with one 3-lb butternut squash. I only added 1/2 of ONE block cream cheese, and it turned out AWESOME! I can hardly wait for my family to try this. Thanks so much for sharing. This is a KEEPER!

Paradise Pumpkin Pie II

Reviewed: Oct. 13, 2003
This was a delicious pie! I divided the entire recipe between two pre-made frozen 9" pie shells. This gave the perfect amount to each pie, and allowed both of the pies to cook evenly. The only thing I would change on this pie is the amount of topping. I thought that it was a little heavy. Next time I make it, I will probably cut the topping amount in 1/2. Thanks a lot for sharing!

Skillet Chops with Mushroom Gravy

Reviewed: Sep. 13, 2003
Sorry guys...this was NOT a hit with my family. I don't think we are pork chop lovers! Had A LOT of left over meat, so I shredded up the meat, and the next day made shredded barbeque pork sandwiches. Everyone ate them up...so at least, not all was lost!

Best of the Best Blueberry Muffins

Cherry Chicken Lettuce Wraps

Reviewed: Aug. 23, 2003
This dish was wonderful! I followed Kerry K's suggestions, with one exception, I added "cherry flavored" Craisins, instead of real cherries. I thought to myself, "why omit the cherries, when this dish is called CHERRY CHICKEN WRAPS?". The Cherry Craisins were so easy and quick to use, verses real cherries, and the frustration that goes with "pitting" them. The result was yummy, and the presentation was awesome! My husband and oldest daughter LOVED them, and want me to make them again. Great summer dish, or anytime dish! Thanks a lot for sharing this one! This will be a family favorite.

Best Ever Blueberry Cobbler

Reviewed: Aug. 2, 2003
Oh boy! Was this ever a HUGE hit with my family and guests! The only modifications I made were: Instead of 1/3 C pure orange juice, I diluted it down with water, to make 1/3 C liquid. (I am not a big orange juice fan, so I adjusted it for my liking!) I used 4 Cups blueberries, because we had an overabundance of them, and didn't want them to go to waste. The blueberries bake down, and didn't overtake the entire cobbler. Finally, I doubled the topping, but found that the center did not cook fully, so next time I might only do it 1.5 times versus doubling the recipe. We will make this again and again! It is WONDERFUL!

Mrs. Sigg's Snickerdoodles

Delicious and so EASY to make! My family rated this a 10++...we hope you do to. My recommendation is not to change ANYTHING on this recipe. We'll be making this for years to come. Thanks for sharing this one!

Peanut Butter Chews

Reviewed: Jul. 27, 2003
Yummy, yummy, yummy! Thanks for sharing this recipe. I only let the syrup boil for 1 minute, then added 5 CUPS cornflakes. I spread the entire mixture onto a cookie sheet (sprayed with Pam), and let cool. I drizzled the chocolate/butterscotch combo over the top, but my family and I decided that we did not like the flavor of the two. Next time I will only use chocolate. They were very easy to cut into squares once cool, soft and chewy. Awesome alternative to Rice Krispie Squares!

Fresh Southern Peach Cobbler

Reviewed: Jul. 25, 2003
Boy oh boy...did my hubby ever like this dessert! He said I could make it for him all summer long. He loved it. My children thought it was okay (hence the 4 star rating), and thought that I over-cooked it because the top was "brown". I told them that it was cinnamon topping(but perhaps I did cook it just a bit too long). I used a bag of frozen peaches, and 2 fresh peaches. I could not tell the difference between the two after this was cooked up! Anyway...give this delicious dish a try, you won't be disappointed.

Basil Shrimp

Reviewed: Jul. 25, 2003
Loved this shrimp! Only thing I would change is the amount of lemon juice called for in the recipe. My husband thought it was too "lemony", so I will cut the amount called for in half (only use 1/2 lemon). I also did not have the course mustard called for, so I substitued with the new French's Sweet Onion mustard. Even my 13 year old, who swears she does not like seafood, devoured her skewer of shrimp! **Also, I cut down the amount of mustard called for! I only used 1 TBSP of mustard, and that was PLENTY!! Enjoy.

Angel's Pasta

Reviewed: Jul. 25, 2003
My family really enjoyed this dish! I added 1 tsp seasoned salt to the zuccini as I was browning it. The seasoned salt definitely added flavour to the vegetables/sauce, and I will add it again the next time I make this pasta. I also added 1/3 Cup Feta Cheese, which made the pasta taste that much better! I will be making this dish for a long time to come...Yummy!

Indonesian Satay

Reviewed: May 19, 2003
I made this recipe twice over our Canadian May long weekend. It received rave reviews from my family...especially my picky 10 year old! They begged me to make it again, so I did. My oldest daughter and I liked the Peanut sauce, the rest of my family did not. The second time I made it, I did not make the sauce. It was still SCRUPMTIOUS without. The chicken is so tender...it literally falls off the BBQ skewers. Thanks so much for this recipe! **I did not have any tomato sauce on hand, so I just substituted Ketchup...it was great.

Crispy Orange Beef

Reviewed: Jan. 18, 2003
Made this last night and my family loved it! I reduced the ginger to 2 TBSP as well. I also reduced the amount of oil used to fry the beef, to 1 Cup instead of 2 Cups. I will use a thinner cut of beef next time I make this dish, as I know the thinner the slice, the more tender the beef is. This is definitely a KEEPER! Thanks for sharing!

Broccoli and Tortellini Salad

Reviewed: Jun. 3, 2002
"DELICIOUS" is the best way to describe this salad! My family loved it. Next time, I will cut down on the amount of sugar called for as well as the sunflower seeds. I added "craisins" instead of raisins, and the salad had a lovely color! Thanks for sharing this one.

Lobster de Jonghe

Reviewed: Apr. 16, 2002
Oh my gosh!!!!!! This was DELICIOUS in every sense of the word. My hubby thought we were dining out at the Red Lobster...only this was better! This one is a keeper for sure. Next time I make this, however, I will cut down on the amount of melted butter, and add some garlic to it. Thank you so much for this one!
