We make these all the time, have made many variations and cooked different ways. Favorite has been adding some cooked and cooled chunks or crumbled italian sausage to top of cream cheese before wrapping with the bacon. Can also mix dry ranch seasoning with cream cheese and some finely chopped chives to add a nice touch of flavor. Those two have been the biggest hits for our family and friends. We have also found making ahead and chilling is best method and we prefer to bake on a piece of foil on a cookie sheet at 350 for 30-45 minutes the easiest way to go, easiest clean up too =)
