Pork Chops with Apple Cider Glaze

Reviewed: Feb. 11, 2015
We didn't like this at all but it was ok not 3 stars. The flavor of the apple cider vinegar was overpowering. Net time, i might add 1/2 cup of the wine to 1 cup of gravy.

Caesar Salad Supreme

Reviewed: Sep. 15, 2014
I chose finely chop it as the recipe directs. I used butter lettuce rather than the mixed greens which made this a very "sturdy" salad for lack of a better way of describing it, tho' I'm sure the submitter would agree any lettuce or salad greens would be perfectly suitable. I felt good serving as well as eating this salad - not only is it pretty and delicious, but it's so heart healthy! Eating this you felt like you were really doing something good for yourself (as well as your tastebuds!) This, along with crab cakes, made for a light but satisfying meal.

Authentic German Potato Salad

Reviewed: Mar. 24, 2014
This was a delicious potato salad! I like mayo, so I was on the hunt for a potato salad that didn't have a lot of mayo in it and a teaspoon of celery seed, it adds a nice texture...this is my favorite potato salad.

You can use yellow, white, or red miso paste for the soup, depending on your preference. You will also need dashi, which is made of dried kelp

I think this dish has a lot of potential, and I'm sure I'll will be make it again. Before attempting this again, I'll have to figure out what seasonings to use, by reading all of the review, and see that will work for others, and than for me, to make it more flavorful or lot better for me to do! Anyway, excellent to do a SCRATCH on recipes. I've will added this to my recipe book with my additions.I did not add the salt, the olives are salty enough for this. THANK YOU!!

Deviled Eggs I

Reviewed: Aug. 21, 2012
Has a lot of potential, On its own, this recipe would probably just be decent, but I'm still giving it 3 stars because it's an excellent recipe that anyone can easily tweak to their own liking. Good basic recipe, but it can be made even better with some of the additions suggested by other raters:

Corned Beef Hash

Reviewed: Aug. 12, 2012
I also add carrots peas sweetcorn any veg I can find boil potatoes with veg add stock cubes add corned beef last and serve with warm garlic bread kids love it every time I add mango chutney too my bowl as well very versatile recipe my brother adds baked beans and curry powder to his instead of all the veg. I grated the tatties so no need to mash and put a dash of Worcestershire sauce. Mix well, or as I say up here in Scotland, "baet well" and serve.
