Butternut Squash Pizzas with Rosemary

Reviewed: Feb. 4, 2012
I thought it was ok...and alittle bland and I don't mind blande. My 10 year old liked it and my husband made so many faces while eating it I got up and made him a sandwich. If I were to make it again I would add a lot to it...more cheese, mushcrooms, cherry tomatoes, garlic, a little more rosemary but I doubt I will be making it again.

Balsamic Grilled Zucchini

Reviewed: Jun. 9, 2012
This was very tasty and simply! I loved it on the grill and will def do again. In addition to the zucchini I did the same with some mushrooms. The mushrooms don't take as long to cook but were really good as well! Thank you.

Strawberry Pie

Reviewed: Mar. 30, 2012
Per someone elses review I used 1/2 cup sugar and 1 1/4 cups of water and i agree with that person. The pie was more than firm enough and anymore sugar would had made it entirely to sweet! But over all the pie was very good and everyone enjoyed it! Thank you.

Manicotti

Reviewed: Jun. 9, 2012
Top notch. Very tasty and very simple. Now I don't get how people stuff the noodle so I slit it down the middle put the stuffing in and then close it up and set in the pan. Seriously, no one knows but me and now you. :) Will def. make again.

I really like egg salad. Love that no mayo is needed and the avocado made a very nice touch. Loved it and will make again! Thanks!

Light and Easy Greek Potato Salad

Reviewed: Jul. 1, 2013
This is very light as said. Very good falvor and a nice change from a mayo or mustard potatoe salad. I actually like this a lot better than the mayo. I did add a little more garlic/onion poweder and a touch more olive oil. Very tasty. Will def. make this again!

Easy Homemade Chili

Reviewed: Dec. 30, 2012
I had to tweek the receipe so much that it was no longer this receipe. This receipe was very bland and watery. I added a small can of paste, 2 garlic cloves, then I added a harty pinch of onion powder along with a teaspoon of red crushed pepper flackes, 3 TBLS of chili powder, two pinches of salt and 1 teaspoon of black pepper. I also added 1 teaspoon of orgeano. Then after it simmered we ate it Cicinnati style with spagettie, raw onions, loaded with chedder cheese and some hot sauce. My chili is not ultra spicey but we want to taste some spice with our chili.

Tasty Buns

Reviewed: Apr. 17, 2012
I loved these. They were so easy to make! I made half the reciepe, not being sure if they would come out for me, but they did and they were wonderful! I used olive oil and honey instead of sugar. I also followeed the advice of someone below and I stirred it for 3 minutes by hand and it was not dense. It was the perfect texture to use on my bbq pulled beef. I will def. make these again. So easy and tasty!

Lemon Sugar Tea Cookies

Reviewed: Jan. 11, 2012
I enjoyed making them and my crew likes eating them. I did not use any corn syrup and I added real leamon juice (2 tablespoons) instead of extract plus lemon peel (1 tablespoon). If I make them again I would add more lemon peel. But they are soft and very tasty.

Mediterranean Baked Fish

Reviewed: May 4, 2012
This was pretty good. I cooked it on the skillet instead of in the oven and added mushrooms. My son wasn't thrilled but my husband and I both enjoyed it! Thank you.

Strawberry Bread

Reviewed: Apr. 30, 2012
I used only 1/4 of the oil and the rest I used regular applesauce. I also only used 1/2 of the sugar and it was plenty sweet enough. I also only used 1 teaspoon of cincinamon. Very moist but I do agree strawberries do not leave a lot of flavor but I still liked it well enough I would make it again. BUT I would puree some of the strawberries and add it as a liquid to boost the flavor a little.

Streusel Coffee Cake

Reviewed: Apr. 18, 2012
Very tasty and I like that it is from scratch not a box mix or using a yellow cake mix! I did use a little less sugar in the batter mix. I always add more nuts than called for and I'm always happy I did. I will make this again. Thank you.

Alfredo Sauce

Reviewed: Apr. 1, 2012
This was pretty good and pretty much the way I make it only I had always melted the butter with flour before adding the cream and garlic and cheese. So this is really already what I do to start with. But I did not add the flour this time and I did add more garlic. I also used carrots, broccoli and chicken with the alfredo and some mushrooms. I skillet cooked my chicken for that grilled taste using olive oil and cajun seasoning. That made the dish.

Simple Whole Wheat Bread

Reviewed: Mar. 25, 2012
Very good. I am very pleased with how this turned out. Next time i'll try adding various seeds. But in the meantime this is awesome! I did use less honey than called for. The first part I used a 1/4 and the second part not even that and it is still sweet but not overly.

Creamed Chipped Beef On Toast

Reviewed: Mar. 18, 2012
Upon a review and suggestion I used lunch meat and I would have to say use the dried beef it would had been much better. My son loved it. The husband said it was ok. And well my opinion is lesser of the two. The cream sauce seemed to be missing that flavor that comes with it and that may had been due to using the lunch meat instead of the dried beef. So I would maybe try this again but I would use the dried beef and maybe a tablespoon more of butter.
