Bacon Cheeseburger Upside Down Pizza

Reviewed: Mar. 20, 2002
While it took longer to bake than the recipe indicated it turned out very well, my husband and mother liked it very much. I added minced garlic, romano, mozarella and subsituted spaghetti sauce for pizza

Pumpkin Chip Muffins

Reviewed: Jul. 8, 2004
These muffins were moist, good and easy to make, but a bit to oily for my taste. The second time I made them I decreased the oil by 1/2 cup and added a 1/2 cup more pumpkin, vanilla and spice (cinnamon and nutmeg) much tastier!

California Chicken Stir Fry

Reviewed: Aug. 30, 2005
This was really a great meal. It will become a staple at our house. I omitted the pineapple and it still turned out really well. I did not have the stir fry mix that the recipe called for, so I used the market brand (broccoli, carrots, and water chestnuts) as well as my own onion, and green pepper.

Creamy Hot Chocolate

Reviewed: Dec. 24, 2006
My husband and daughter really enjoyed this recipe. I followed everyone's advice and used half milk and half water. I served it with candy canes for stiring and marshmallows. I will definitely make this again.

Fried Butterflied Shrimp

Reviewed: Feb. 28, 2007
My husband and I really enjoyed this recipe. I took the advice of the previous reviewers and cut the water by half. I seasoned the shrimp and cornstarch mixture and used italian bread crumbs. I placed the batter and breadcrumbs in two zip lock bags and shook the shrimp in each mixture because I had medium sized shrimp. Really Good

Fudgy Chocolate Chip Muffins

Reviewed: Aug. 23, 2008
These muffins were really moist and delicious. I will definitely make them again. I tweaked the recipe a bit. I added sour cream in place of apple sauce because I didn't have any and butter in place of margarine.

Chicken Teriyaki - It's a Secret

Reviewed: Aug. 25, 2008
Maybe I didn't do something right, but this didn't taste very much like teriyaki to me. It didn't taste bad, but it also didn't taste that great either. I won't make it again.

Buttermilk Pancakes II

Reviewed: Mar. 13, 2010
I made these exactly as the recipe stated, they came out really light and fluffy. The batter was a bit much. We are a family of 4 and I had plenty leftover and everyone had a least three pancakes. I will make these again, I will just scale it down a bit.

This was the best pound cake I have ever made or had. The batter is very heavy and you must ensure that every thing is well mixed. However, it is moist and delicious it didn't even last two days

David's Yellow Cake

Reviewed: Aug. 23, 2013
Disclaimer: I didn't use cake flour, I substituted corn starch for some of the flour, but I followed the directions and watched the video This cake tasted pretty good, however, I didn't find it to be exceedingly moist. It reminded me of a tastycake junior in taste and texture (If you're from the Philadelphia area I'm sure you're familiar.) My kids really enjoyed it. I can't say that I'll make it again because it was just good, not great and 8 eggs worth of cake needs to be outstanding.

Really good, and really simple, far superior to the fudge that's made from marshmallow fluff.
