Passover Apple Cake

Reviewed: Apr. 2, 2002
Delicious recipe for Passover! I will definately make this next year. I served it for dessert, but it also is great for breakfast. I would not recommend freezing the cake, as it ended up a little soggy. The flavor is excellent and the matzoh meal is undetectible.

Herbed Turkey Breast

Reviewed: Mar. 13, 2002
This is a easy and quick recipe that results in a delicious and moist turkey breast. I had bought a boneless breast and the recipe came out incredible. I have twice served it to company, with rave reviews. YUM!

Working Mom's Hamentashen

Reviewed: Mar. 13, 2002
These were the easiest hamentashen I've ever made and among the tastiest. The dough has a very, very nice flavor. Make sure to pinch the corners extremely tightly, so there is just a little filling visable. I had several in my first batch open up in the oven. They didn't look so good, but they were delicious!

Barbequed Marinated Flank Steak

Reviewed: Mar. 16, 2002
I often make flank steak and am always looking for new recipes. This one is delicious, an a little on the sweet side. I used fresh garlic (three cloves) and fresh, grated ginger (two teaspoons). The flavor was excellent. I look forward to making this recipe again.

Passover Chocolate Mandelbrot

Reviewed: Apr. 2, 2002
This is a keeper. The mandelbrot was a huge hit with my family and is sure to be an annual favorite at our Passover meal. I would suggest cutting the loaves as soon as they are removed from the oven, and then leaving them out for a few hours to cool/dry out. Unless you were told, you wouldn't guess there was matzah meal in the recipe. Delicious!

Cake Mix Cookies VIII

Reviewed: Mar. 13, 2002
These cookies were very moist and incredibly easy to make. My kids loved them so much, that my son had me make them to bring to school for his birthday. I made them with the chocolate cake mix and chocolate chips and they came out perfect.
