Truck-Stop Buttermilk Pancakes

Reviewed: Dec. 27, 2010
Ok...these are definitely better than the recipe I have always used...my mother's! I liked it so much, I even gave the recipe to her. Very moist and fluffy! I will replace my old recipe with this one!

Cranberry Upside-Down Coffee Cake

Reviewed: Nov. 27, 2010
Awesome!!! I would not change a thing! It only gets more moist as the day goes on! Next time, I will try apples or blueberries instead of cranberries...just to shake things up! I still love the cranberries though! The picture doesn't do it justice! The picture makes it look dry...and it's not! Very light and fluffy!

Key Lime Pie VII

Reviewed: Oct. 22, 2010
Oh my...this is by far the best key lime pie I have ever put in my mouth! I even made it with fat free sweetened condensed milk AND fat free sour cream. It doesn't taste fat free! I will definitely make this over and over again, not just because of the taste, but because it was so unbelievably easy & quick to make!

Buttery Carrots 'n' Onions

Reviewed: Jan. 31, 2008
I unfortunately did not like these. My husband wasn't too fond of them either. I followed the recipe exactly, but they tasted pretty bland. However, it did make a nice looking dish.

Apple Pie by Grandma Ople

Reviewed: Jan. 26, 2008
Overall...the idea of pouring the mixture over the top...GREAT! However, my husband was disappointed in the lack of flavor in this pie. It definitely needs a boost of cinnamon! I will probably make again...but will add some cinnamon to help it along! Anyone else have any other ideas about what to add?

Double Chocolate Mocha Trifle

Reviewed: Nov. 23, 2006
This is a GREAT recipe! I made this for Thanksgiving and came home with enough for 1 or 2 servings! A Big Hit! The only thing I changed was adding another box of white chocolate pudding and made 1 and 1/2 recipes of the coffee portion of the recipe. TRY this...you won't regret it!!!!

Frosted Grapes

Reviewed: Jun. 4, 2006
THESE ARE GREAT! Adults and children both enjoyed these! I made these for a graduation reception and used the colors of jello that matched the school colors. It worked great! They are best after they have had a chance to chill. We have tried pretty much all of the jello flavors with this recipe. We love grape, cherry and orange. I am going to make these for our July 4th party and use cherry, berry blue and grape jello. The grape jello appears white on the grapes...so I wlll have something red, white and blue! The kids can do this all by themselves too...from start to finish! YUMMY...and healthy snack!

Mrs. Sigg's Snickerdoodles

Reviewed: Jan. 1, 2006
WOW! I am NOT a big fan of snickerdoodles, but this is one I like. I took these to a New Years Eve party...thinking the kids would like these, but more adults ended up eating these! I will make these again for my whole family...they are easy and quick too!

Creamy Hot Chocolate

Reviewed: Jan. 1, 2006
This is a great, quick and easy recipe...I agree with the earlier review...use milk if you want a richer taste. When I made it with water, my husband and I agreed that it was a tad bitter and needed a little sugar. Not much...but just a couple of tablespoons. Great for making this ahead for large gatherings!

Thin Mint Cookies

Reviewed: Jan. 13, 2004
Unbelievable! This tastes exactly like Thin Mints (Girl Scout version)! Just make sure you slice the cookies thin enough in order for them to harden. I changed the recipe a little by using Andes Creme De Menthe Chips (2 oz.) and Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips (1 oz.) for the coating. Also, I didn't chill mine as long as the recipe says to. I chilled for about 1 1/2 hours and then transferred to the freezer for the 30 minutes before baking. These are delicious and I will definitely make again!

Popularity Cookies

Reviewed: Nov. 24, 2003
UNBELIEVABLE!!!! I took these to a finger-food dinner at church last night and they cleaned the plate! As a matter of fact, when I got my empty plate back, someone had written me a note on a paper napkin: "These were wonderful! I would love the recipe" - then they signed it and put their phone number on it! I have never had such a reaction. My husband said he heard several people asking who made them! I will definitely be making these again! The only thing I did different than the recipe was I used sliced almonds which I chopped and then sauteed in butter. If I could give this recipe more stars I would...GREAT, GREAT, GREAT!!!!!!

Secret Kiss Cookies

Reviewed: Oct. 3, 2003
Delicious...but definitely chill dough. I didn't with my first batch and what a mistake. They completely fell apart and looked horrible. The dough is great! It tastes almost like a cream cheese cookie! The kiss inside is a nice little present when you bite into it!

Best Broccoli Salad

Reviewed: Mar. 11, 2002
This recipe went over GREAT! I took it to a dinner at church and a lot of people weren't sure about eating it because of the way it looks. But looks really do deceive with this dish! It tasted wonderful! I wish there was some way to make it look more presentable. I think a lot more people would be willing to try it if it looked a bit more appetizing. Overall, it tasted wonderful! I had lots of requests for the recipe!
