Spicy Oatmeal Raisin Cookies
Hmm. I think I would rate these cookies at a 3 1/2, but I will up them to 4 because I may have made an error somewhere (but I can't think of where...). The flavor was OK, and I substituted half of the oil with applesauce. I also used chocolate chips instead of raisins, which I thought helped. I made them larger than called for based on other reviews. They turned out pretty 'fluffy' for a cookie, but mine looked like the pictures so I think I did it right.. Who knows, maybe the ladies at work will love them tomorrow. So, a decent cookie but just not my favorite.

White Brownies
Super delicious!! I made it pretty close to as written, but substituted white chocolate chips instead of butterscotch since that was all I had. It was a great choice. Tasted pretty brownie-like to me, and didnt need any extra bake time like other reviews suggest. Maybe the issue was different ovens.. Either way, I will definitely be making these again. YUM

Cake Balls
Great recipe! I used Yellow cake mix and substituted ½ of the oil with applesauce. I used cream cheese frosting, but only like ¾ of a container. I also waited until the cake was completely cool before mixing it up. I warmed up the frosting for like 20 seconds before mixing it in. I just used a fork to mash it all together. I also didn’t use a melon baller.. I just used a spoon to scoop it out, then formed it with my hands. Then I froze the balls for a while, and then while they were still hard from the freezer, I dipped them in melted chocolate. I found that using a toothpick was the easiest way. These got great reviews at the fathers day gathering, and at work the next day. I will definitely make again, and I am excited to try different flavors!
