Touchdown Chili
I was hopeful this would be my new go-to recipe for chili, but sadly, my search continues! That's not to say it's bad, but the flavors were off - 1/3 c chili powder and 1 can of beer were too strong. If I try this again, I'll start with 1/4 c chili powder and 1/2 can beer. To compensate this time, I added an additional can of tomato sauce, lime juice, more honey (which I used instead of sugar). I also added lightly cooked bacon. The flavors did come together better after I let the pot sit overnight in the fridge, though.

Curry Stand Chicken Tikka Masala Sauce
We aren't Indian food eaters at home (I've only eaten Indian food once before) but my bff sent us a spice jar of curry that I felt obligated to use. This was our second dish and boy, it was superb! The only deviation I made from the recipe was using butter instead of ghee. A couple was almost too creamy. Next time I'll cut back on the whipping cream, reduce to 2/3 c. I served it over fried rice with 1 t curry added in and a drizzle of fresh lime juice. That added a zing to cut the creaminess. It could have used some fresh greens. A previous reviewer mentioned serving with cilantro - that's on my radar for next time! Maybe some red pepper as well. Thank you!

Best Baked French Fries
the seasoning was great. cut them up thinner and it reduced cooking time plus they were more in line with regular french fries. was a hit
