Oven Fried Parmesan Chicken

Wow just finished eating it and had to rate it! I had seen Parmesan chicken recipes but didn't want to try it, thought it might be too cheesy, but this one is not, just a hint of parmesan flavor, very crunchy, slight garlic and butter, all the seasoning works together for unique flavor that I will be making a lot!

So Pink Cereal Bars

This is an awesome snack, treat or breakfast bar! I did not have the exact things called for so I used cherry Jello, and instead of candy I sprinkled mini chocolate chips over the top when done and pressed them in. Cherry-chocolate bars! I even used organic cereal to counteract my guilt about the food coloring in the Jello, lol. Loved this!

Mini Pumpkin Butterscotch Muffins

These were very very sweet and I only used 3/4 of the chips called for. Need more cinnamon too. However the kids and husband did really like them, maybe they have more of a sweet tooth than I....

Apple Crisp

This was excellent! Easy to make with not too many ingredients, and so good. I did add about 1/2 cup blueberries because I was short an apple, but I think that was an amazing addition and will keep making it this way. The topping is the BEST topping I've had, with the walnuts in it. I also sliced the apples instead of chopping...

Best Big, Fat, Chewy Chocolate Chip Cookie

This is the only recipe I use now, after years of trying ones that just didn't turn out. Love this!!!! Chewy and soft, the perfect cookie. You can make them a little smaller, just reduce the time and watch them.

Sour Milk Spice Cake

This cake is excellent! I followed the recipe exactly except instead of nuts I added some chopped orange-flavored dried cranberries from Trader Joes and a 1/4 cup of chocolate chips. I also added extra cinnamon. I was generous with the olive oil also. Cake was very moist and had a moist/chewy top, everyone loved it and I will definitely make it again. I think you could add anything - nuts, chocolate or butterscotch chips, dried fruits, it would still be great!

Sour Cream Noodle Bake

Really good, my son said it was restaurant status! Everyone liked the sour cream and onion flavor. I subbed turkey but better with a bolder flavor like beef. Also subbed out the cottage cheese cuz I didn't have any, and used 1/2 cup plain yogurt and 1/4 cup parmesan cheese instead of the cottage. It was fine that way, also put some bread crumbs on top when baking.

Nectarine Salsa

This is really awesome! I left out the cilantro cuz we don't like it, but we didn't miss it! I did not cook it, left it fresh. Really good with the balsamic vinegar, more like a relish, but my son added hot taco sauce to his when we put it on steak tacos with freshly fried corn shells, and it was just SO good! I think it would be good with any type of meat, grilled food, fish, Mexican, whatever! Now I know what to do with those nectarines that aren't ripe and sweet when I bring them home from the store...

Chicken With Mushrooms

This is an excellent dish! I just want to share how I made it, I breaded the chicken with freshly grated crumbs, I sauteed the mushrooms in butter and garlic before putting in pan as others have suggested, and I used freshly grated parmesan cheese in addition to the mozzarella. Lots of black pepper too. As we were eating it, my 17 yr old son suggested a sprinkle of lemon juice on it, and it was awesome! He also said it's the first time he like mushrooms. Great recipe, it goes in my file to make again soon!
