About this Cook
Happily married for over 16 years now. I like to suprise my hubby once in a while with something different for dinner. is the place to find it.
My favorite things to cook
Desserts! My husband loves his sweets!
My favorite family cooking traditions
Growing up my Mom used to make the best Fried Chicken. Needless to say my two sisters and myself can't fry chicken to this day. It just doesn't turn out nice and crispy like she made it.

Creamiest Rice Pudding
I just made this today for the 1st time. I read about 50 reviews prior to making this. I added the rice just as it started to boil. Then I put it on the lowest temp burner for the 80 minutes as others said to do. Well my new stove has a tiny burner that might have been too low of a temp to cook this. After about 90 minutes I moved it to a normal size burner and cooked it a few more minutes. Finally it started to thicken a bit. Then I followed the rest of the recipe and it turned out perfect! Thanks for sharing this recipe!

Cheesy Potato Casserole
Very Good! I did take the advice of others and added about a half pound more of hash browns. It turned out perfect!

Russian Tea Cakes I
Excellent cookie! I ended up baking them for 1 extra minute. I think I will make them just a little bit smaller next time, since the do enlarge just a bit during the baking. I will continue to use this recipe for years to come!
