Juicy Roasted Chicken

Reviewed: Oct. 25, 2011
AMAZING!! So easy to make and so deliciously juicy and flavourful! I made some really minor changes...like using garlic powder instead of onion powder, adding crushed garlic to the cavity and under the skin...and brushing on about a tablespoon of honey for the last 20 minutes. Oh and I didn't have celery so I used some sliced onion instead. It still turned out REALLY REALLY YUMMY!!

Classic Vichyssoise

Reviewed: Feb. 11, 2011
OK I think I butchered this recipe. I didn't have a blender or food processor so I strained it. Haha. It came out super smooth. I think I'll serve the pulp hot. It's kind of like mashed potatoes...or gourmet baby food. Perfect for my dinner guest tonight who just had her wisdom teeth out! Oh I forgot to mention that I decided to add green food colouring to make it look more "leeky". I am so not helpful. I'm sorry.

Microwave Mochi

Reviewed: Jan. 21, 2011
Great recipe! But I didn't really like how the starch mixture made the mochi kind of salty. I think I'll leave out the salt next time.

Home-Style Scalloped Potatoes

Reviewed: Jan. 19, 2011
Yummy! This recipe was easy and delicious! I've never made scalloped potatoes before and these turned out great! I didn't have regular potatoes so I used little yellow nugget potatoes, and I didn't have milk...so I used whipping cream and water. I also added a bit of chicken powder, garlic, and dried basil. Oh and I was impatient and took the thing out of the oven after 45 minutes but it was cooked perfectly! I think it was because the potatoes were small and I only had three layers.
