Cornbread Pudding

Reviewed: Oct. 5, 2011
this was excellent, paired it with the Cruchy Apple-Pecan Slaw by M.K. Bishop and they were perfect for the cook-out we went to.

Crispy Baked Chicken Wings

Reviewed: Mar. 20, 2011
Used the recipe as a base to cook wings, didn't have apricot so I skipped the sauce all together but cooked the wings with the cooking spray and mixure. I thought spraying them again seemed odd but did it anyway, and it was great. We loved them, juicy and perfectly cooked. Wish I had a baking rack though, I think that would make them crispier and seem more like fried. love!

Eggless Chocolate Peanut Butter Cookies

Reviewed: Mar. 29, 2011
Excellent! Just made them and I'm sold! I was looking for a recipe for cookies, didn't have any eggs but had cocoa and chunky p.b.(love this site for that) I did have to improvise because I only had about 2 1/2 tbl. of butter left so I added in a couple tbl of canola oil and they came out fine. I also added a little extra cocoa powder and p.b like someone else suggested. Excellent recipe that can easily be adapted depending on what you have/haven't on hand! will definetly make again!

Grilled Country Ribs

Reviewed: May 13, 2011
Excellent! The sauce was awesome, my husband loved it. The grilling makes such a big difference, don't skip this step if you don't have to, it's worth it, trust me. We did alter the cooking time because every time I cook country style ribs for more than 1 hr they dry out for some reason (I have a gas stove) maybe that's why, I don't know! Then my husband threw them on the grill for maybe 20min, sauced them and went another 5-10. will totally make again!

The Casserole

Reviewed: May 23, 2011
Delicious and different -in a good way! I also made my own mashed potatoes using white and sweet potatoes that I make with milk, s&p, butter, and I also mixed in shredded cheddar cheese which came out so good, I'd make it alone as a side dish. I would almost double the ground beef next time though, my husban and I agreed it could use more. The only other thing I changed was, I used garlic flavored cream of mushroom soup- I know! I didn't know they made it either! Definitely use a big casserole pan, this is a lot of food!

Amish White Bread

Reviewed: Feb. 6, 2012
amazing...I made this in a breadmachine, halved the recipe but with just 1/4 of sugar like someone else suggested. I used the dough setting, let it rise in a greased pan, covered with a damp kitchen towel on the stove as the oven pre-heated for 30 min. Then baked for 30min @ 350 exactly and it came out beautifully! The best bread I've ever made, fluffy and just slightly sweet. I will be making and eating a lot of this!

Super Crunch Oven Cooked Honey Dipped Wings

Reviewed: Mar. 19, 2012
If you love crunchy wings that are perfectly cooked and still moist inside than look no further...you could swear they were fried except that they are no greasy, which is a good thing. We followed the recipe up until the honey coating which we did a hot mango chutney instead and they were fantastic. You could put any sauce you like and they'd be great but I will try them with the honey sauce sometime.

Oatmeal Blueberry Muffins

Reviewed: Oct. 18, 2011
these are pretty good, I am eating one fresh out of the oven as I write this...I love the texture and size of this muffin. Great flavor also, although I like my muffins a little bit sweeter than this so I think I'll try some brown sugar as someone else suggested and a slightly lower temp. maybe 400 for 20-25, in my oven I had to shut it off with 10 min to go because the bottoms were all browned up but the top, nothing and they appeared to be done but I wasn't sure, but they are very good with a little butter on them!
