Awesome Slow Cooker Pot Roast

Reviewed: Jun. 27, 2002
I was a bit hesitant because the recipe looked too easy, but I was surprised that it tasted soo good! It is very easy to make and it tastes just right.

Chinese Chicken Salad III

Reviewed: Jun. 27, 2002
I attended a potluck and normally I get nervous because I don't know how to cook well. I found this recipe and decided to try it for the potluck. The directions are very clear and easy to follow. The salad was the hit of the party. I made TONS of it and only a small portion was left over. People were fighting to take the leftover home. I was really glad that I brought something that everyone LOVED!

Awesome Sausage, Apple and Cranberry Stuffing

Reviewed: Dec. 3, 2002
I've never made stuffing from scratch but I did this year for Thanksgiving dinner. Everyone loved it and it was so easy to make. I followed the recipe exactly (but used the original pork sausage). At first I thought it would be a bit too overwhelming with all the herbs but it turned out fine. I would highly recommend this dish not only because it's easy to make but because it's fantastic.

Roast Chicken with Rosemary

Reviewed: Dec. 3, 2002
I made this for Thanksgiving instead of Turkey and it turned out very well. The chicken was juicy and the meat was very tender. Even my boyfriend, who is very picky about chicken, loved this dish. Just don't be too cautious with all the rosemary in the chicken. It really made the chicken have a nice aroma to it.

Spicy Bean Salsa

Reviewed: Jun. 2, 2007
I'm not really fond of bean salsas, however, I HAD to try this because of the ratings & reviews. I made it for Memorial Day and it was a hit!! What I changed in this recipe is: 3/4 Cup Italian, 2 Fresh Limes, 1/2 Bunch of cilantro, 2 Jalapenos, and fresh garlic. This is a great appetizer and I plan in making it for a 4th of July BBQ.

Apple Pie by Grandma Ople

Reviewed: Oct. 20, 2007
Awesome pie! This was my first time making an apple pie and I messed up on the pie crust, however, everyone still raved about how great it tasted! The filling is wonderful! I took the advice of others and added Nutmeg, Cinnamon, and Vanilla (omitting the water). I will definitely make this again! Thank you for sharing the recipe!

Vegan Split Pea Soup I

Reviewed: Jan. 15, 2013
I skipped the barley, used 1 potato, 2 stalks of celery, and 2 carrots instead. I love how easy this was the make and the flavor of it. I added 1/2 cup of split pea after the 3 hour mark because I wanted a little more texture. Probably need to cook for another 30 minutes and then will turn off the stove. Will definitely make it again and highly recommend this. Great alternative to a typical ham split pea soup.

Caramel Popcorn

Reviewed: Dec. 15, 2006
When I think of Caramel Popcorn I think of popcorn that's gooey and sticky. This recipe is okay if you like Cracker Jacks, but I wasn't looking for that kind of Caramel Popcorn. If you like Cracker Jacks, this is the perfect recipe though.
