Vegan Split Pea Soup I
I skipped the barley, used 1 potato, 2 stalks of celery, and 2 carrots instead. I love how easy this was the make and the flavor of it. I added 1/2 cup of split pea after the 3 hour mark because I wanted a little more texture. Probably need to cook for another 30 minutes and then will turn off the stove. Will definitely make it again and highly recommend this. Great alternative to a typical ham split pea soup.

Apple Pie by Grandma Ople
Awesome pie! This was my first time making an apple pie and I messed up on the pie crust, however, everyone still raved about how great it tasted! The filling is wonderful! I took the advice of others and added Nutmeg, Cinnamon, and Vanilla (omitting the water). I will definitely make this again! Thank you for sharing the recipe!

Spicy Bean Salsa
I'm not really fond of bean salsas, however, I HAD to try this because of the ratings & reviews. I made it for Memorial Day and it was a hit!! What I changed in this recipe is: 3/4 Cup Italian, 2 Fresh Limes, 1/2 Bunch of cilantro, 2 Jalapenos, and fresh garlic. This is a great appetizer and I plan in making it for a 4th of July BBQ.
