About this Cook
I am a thirty-something, WOH, mother of two. I enjoy cooking, music (alt, indie & experimental), movies (indie and asian horror) and the intertoobs (stumbleupon).
My favorite things to cook
Mexican, Italian and sweets (though I rarely cook the latter).

Lemonade Pie III
VERY SWEET but excellent and SUPER EASY! Doubling the wet ingredients makes three pies (so buy three pie shells)--plenty for gifting! :D Oh, and I used Raspberry Lemonade and Pineapple juice (for one of each and one half/half pie). The Raspberry Lemonade was phenomenal! Can't wait to experiment with other flavors. Will definitely make again... and again!

Breakfast Pizza I
AWESOME! Everyone enjoyed this on Xmas morning! I took a few tips from the reviews, using a 9x13 pan and adding 1/2 cup crumbled bacon. I will definitely make this again (and will probably hold out a bit of the sausage and add some green onion and mushrooms). This is a the perfect recipe for company!

Tater Tot Hot Dish II
I tried this mostly out of curiosity because I had heard it referenced on that "13 and Pregnant Again" show, thinking of the recipe as an oddity, much like the family from the show. Well, turns out it was a super crowd-pleaser (especially with the short ones), so I suppose I will make it again--just not soon since it's so fattening. As other reviewers suggested, I cooked the tots first, added a bit of garlic powder to the beef, and added about a cup of cheese over the tots before layering the soup. OH! and if I had it to do over again I would have held the fried onions out until 15 minutes before it was done. I had to foil them to keep them from burning. Overall, good comfort food. Will make again!
