Be prepared for a workout...this dough is really stiff and difficult to work with. Also, don't listen to anyone who says this cookie dough won't spread out much in the oven...in my experience, you need to leave at least 2 inches between cookies on the sheet. The first batch looked awful, all stuck together, crumbly texture and they tasted worse. For the second batch I turned down the oven to 345F and cooked them for 14-15 minutes and they looked really nice....crisp on the outside and chewy on the inside. As to the taste, I thought they were ok, maybe a little bland. My husband who is a soft choc. chip cookie lover said they were good but that Toll House were much better. It must have been slim pickin's to choose from if these cookies won an award.
I might try making them with a different pudding flavor but not with vanilla again.
